We have been to the Ivy in Bristol and loved the atmosphere so chose Winchester for a birthday celebration. Lovely food choices and excellent wines too. Good service and an excellent waiter.

First visit for a while. Ordered from the Heritage menu circa 1917 and had smoked haddock and salmon fishcake followed by a chicken Kerala curry. Must admit, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect — it’s in one of those rather upmarket areas where everyone seems to own a tiny dog and a large opinion. That said, I was pleasantly surprised.
