Big store with many choices.

A scruffy store whose frequent and infuriating layout changes render it a shambles to shop in . I want to buy groceries , not have my time wasted by their crude effort to delay me exiting the store and forcibly hunt to find things. I avoid whenever possible. The staff are nice, but by George are the younger ones lacking in customer service training or effort.

I don't know if it's just this Sainsburys or if it's widespread across the whole country, but since they went full on with Nectar prices 2-3 years ago, I can be guaranteed that every week there will be some sort of inconsistency between the advertised Nectar price and the price actually charged. If it is widespread, Sainsburys must be overcharging their customers to the tune of millions every week. See photos where recently, the item didn't have the Nectar price applied and it actually cost more than the standard advertised price!

They close this door just before closing so you are forced to go all the way around and endure the stench of cigarette smoke from the staff outside. Please leave the door open. It's almost like they don't want you shopping there. Its expensive and little dirty in places.. other supermarkets are available

Always clean and pretty easy to navigate, as someone with autism it can be difficult to get around at time as it can be busy and very bright. It would definitely be better if they done some quite times in the week but is manageable with noise cancelling headphones on good days.

No one on tills, no staff to help available yet again. I do not work for Sainsbury's I have no interest in checking out my own goods and take absolutely no responsibility for any errors or discrepancies.

Well stocked and huge range . Tidy supermarket with plenty of parking. Petrol station car wash and coffee shop available.
No longer has a pharmacy .

Needs some work. Toliets are horrible with leaks. Attached petrol station usually has half the pumps out of order, but you can't tell until you get to it.

Standard large Sainsbury. The bakery, unusually, has a bread slicing machine that customers can use themselves. It has an Argos within it.
There is also a petrol station but currently no electric car charging points

Management team bar 2 are awful people. Rude, screaming at colleagues and customers. They barely work. Always talking or on their phones doing persoanl stuff. Saw one manager scream I'm the face of a young girl. Couldn't believe it. Believe the managers name was Kofy.

I remember this store being built when I lived on Badger Farm.
Showing its age, but shabby and serviceable. Overgrown bushes add to the excitement as you come in down the steep, tight slope.
Visited for the first time in yonks, July2025.
