I think the fact that I visit most days speaks volumes - great coffee, warm and welcoming service and the best open and clean space to hang out in Winchester. It was also the perfect location for my book launch ??

Honestly, if you?re thinking of grabbing a coffee in the morning, I wouldn?t really recommend this place. The baristas don?t seem properly trained ? I asked for a flat white and got something super frothy instead of that smooth milk you?d usually expect.
The vibe?s not the best either. The staff don?t come across as very friendly. This morning kind of summed it up for me ? I paid £3.40 for a coffee, said ?morning? and didn?t get anything back from the Barista. Just got stared at, like I was supposed to just get on with it and say my order.
I know working in customer service isn?t always easy ? I do it too ? but if you?re charging that much for an average coffee, a simple hello goes a long way.
I?ve been here a few times now hoping it was just a one-off, but it?s pretty much the same each time.
So yeah, not great coffee and the service isn?t much better.

First impressions were good upon arrival. Unfortunately there was a long wait before coffee was bought to our table. The coffee tasted good but was like warm and needed to be hotter. There was only one toilet working and it wasn?t clean

Wonderful spacious deli, so good to find out they make absolutely everything on site using seasonal ingredients - feel this is harder and harder to find on the high street

I used to love open house deli, the concept is brilliant with a friendly and dedicated founder. Sadly it?s really gone down hill this year. Multiple staff are really unfriendly, you?re lucky to get a forced smile and they constantly look irritated despite the fact I?ve spent a lot there over the years. Today I spent just under £10 on two smoothies that had no flavour besides milk and were luke warm. The portion sizes of the breakfasts seem to have shrunk as well.

Visited here as visiting a family member. We needed somewhere that had gf options for my son.
We were met with lots of lovely cake options that were gf , however he couldn't eat /risk eating them as they were mixed in the same cabinet as the gluten cakes! I'm disappointed that staff do not understand the importance contamination , this could make someone who is gf/colieac very poorly!

The only thing I don't like is that the cutlery is dirty. Not washed properly with bits & dirt from last customer so not great hygiene.

Staff are barely interested in serving me. They seem to be too busy chatting to other customers and amongst themselves. the coffee was overpriced and way too small compared to what you might get elsewhere. I would not recommend this place and will not visit again.

My favourite Deli in Winchester. The staff are extremely friendly and there is a great atmosphere there. I go there every time I am in Winchester.
