I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the poor level of customer service I recently experienced at your Winchester High Street branch.
I visited the Winchester branch with a simple request to correct the spelling of my surname in your system, as it was displayed incorrectly online. At the time, there were three customer service representatives available, one of whom was on the shop floor managing customer inquiries. After explaining my situation to this triaging representative, I was advised to wait. Unlike the other staff, this individual did not have an iPad, which I understand could have limited their ability to assist fully.
After waiting around 5-10 minutes, I was informed by the triaging staff member that all available representatives were still busy, and I was encouraged to call 150 to address my issue. However, none of the options on the call menu seemed applicable to my situation, so I returned to request assistance from one of the available representatives, specifically the team leader, Rob. Rob, however, informed me that he was unable to assist as he needed to complete a callback and advised me again to use 150. When I expressed frustration at the lengthy wait for phone assistance (25 minutes at the time), he reiterated that the in-store team could not assist me as I am a pay-as-you-go customer, citing it as policy.
Once I finally connected with a representative through 150, they initially advised me to return to the store. I explained the situation, noting that the in-store team had refused to assist due to my pay-as-you-go status. The 150 representative promptly resolved my issue within seconds.
Throughout this experience, Rob, the team leader, demonstrated unprofessionalism and discourtesy, which I found disappointing. His refusal to assist, despite a lack of other customers waiting, suggests not only an unwillingness to help but also what appeared to be a dismissive attitude toward me personally.
The contradictory information I received between your in-store staff and the 150 representative reflects a concerning lack of consistency in your customer service policy. Additionally, I found Rob?s dismissive manner unprofessional, raising questions about his commitment to customer service values and equal treatment.
I am very disappointed with the service I received and do not consider this acceptable. I hope you will address this matter with the urgency and attention it deserves to ensure that future customers receive consistent and respectful service across all branches.

Had a fantastic time in store and the guys were fantastic. In and out the store in no time with exactly what I wanted. Very professional and thorough, saved me lots of money in the same time

We went in before the Christmas holiday and were trying to find out if I could upgrade to a better phone. My contract was due! We were being 'repeat customers' TO EE and wound up with a sales person who basically was trying to sell me a phone that was identical to my own but at a greater cost and with a WORSE processor!! He offered me a 'plan.' My husband nudged and said no, let's wait and think about it. When we got outside he did assure me that this guy was NOT trying to help me and was NOT presenting me with a better phone! We walked down the High Street just a bit and (unintentionally!) Wound up in Vodaphone!They were VERY helpful! We found a phone for me within minutes. They DID need my 'code' to leave EE. We walked back TO EE and they outright refused the code. I have since reported them to OfCom for their incredibly rude and childish AND fraudulent behaviour!! WOW that was bad. We just...wanted to get me a new phone!! But they had to be ridiculous and try to sell me an older VERY underwhelming phone with a ridiculous contract to go with. Vodaphone helped me to get the code ON THE PHONE and then set me up with a brand new contract WITH THEM. my husband is on the EE 'contract' still, but after that day!! HE WANTS OUT. HORRIBLE experience on Winchester High Street. ALL THE GUYS who were working there that day!! Three men. AWFUL All three were rude! i'm sorry!! but ?? that was horrible!!

ROB & his team are literally amazing! I have renewed one contract and added another two lines as I totally trusted the best deals Rob suggested for me. It was done quickly and efficiently and really went above and beyond with amazing serviceThanks guys! Would give 10 stars if I could highlyRecommend ??????????????????????

Had excellent service from Zach at the Winchester branch. Didn?t feel pressurised at all as I sought advice on the purchase of a new phone. He was patient, knowledgeable and clear in advice/ instruction. Will have no hesitation in returning to the branch.
