The Staff here are amazing, so polite & really refreshing to receive such first class service . Unfortunately Costa locations are so basic and uncomfortable , the seats are like school chairs from the 1980?s, very small, hard , lots of bare wood , and very upright. So far behind Starbucks and cafe Nero etc when it comes to store appearance and comfort. Just doesn?t have that cosy coffee shop vibe .

We visited this Costa today on our way to Southampton. We left our bag at the table containing our holiday documents and at off on our journey. When we got to our hotel we realised we had left the bag. Alice a member of staff and her colleague Noah had found our bag and kept it safely. We are so grateful to them for being so proactive.

During our return journey from a family holiday in Winchester, we made a delightful stop at the Costa Coffee situated at Sutton Scotney South Motorway Services. The café exuded a welcoming ambiance, characterised by its cleanliness and meticulous maintenance. This serene atmosphere provided an ideal respite during our brief respite.
Our breakfast experience was exceptional, with the menu offering an array of fresh, delectable, and precisely prepared dishes. The exceptional customer service further elevated our visit. The staff?s warm & friendly demeanor ensured our comfort and provided attentive assistance throughout our stay.
This caffe serves as an exceptional destination for a quick coffee and meal during travel. Highly recommended for anyone who is traversing the A34, it offers a convenient and enjoyable respite.

Stopped for a coffee break and had been on the road a while. Spotted a ginger cake and it looked delicious was about to order when I spotted a fly buzzing around in the cake cabinet sampling all the cakes. I changed my mind very quickly but informed the young foreign lady behind the counter. I was floored by her response that it had been there all day( it was midday) and that they tried to get it out but couldn't catch it. So I guess they just closed the cabinet doors and left it inside ....disgusting! I certainly lost my appetite and wondered what the health inspectors would think of this......I am disgusted and not impressed.

Make sure you get a receipt from your server as their colleague will go to the till after and say you payment was declined and will insist you pay again, despite your bank app showing it is paid and your server having already asked if you want a receipt at the end of the transaction. Rude and abrupt. Beware. Is this a new scam to get sales. Captive audience who are unlikely to be local and travel back. The most expensive coffees we?ve ever had.

Stopped on the long way home, staff friendly enough but were unaware if they did gluten free foods. Only what was on display which was a total of zero options For Costa this is very poor.
