I tried for the first time Thai green curry and was not impressed with taste and texture. Green curry is my favourite and I tried ready meal from different brands and also in different restaurants. Chicken was cooked good but curry sauce and texture was not as good as I expected. Curry sauce was lumpy and not smooth also i didn?t taste any flavour and spices in it. Shop was clean and packaging was good.

Tried beef, mushroom and wine pie. Pastry was rather stodgy and it took some searching to find meat. Very disappointed. Cost over £30 just not worth it. I have Dijon chicken in freezer. Will let you know how that is received.

Had our first meal from cooks today had the mushroom risotto it was so good so tasty plenty for two people. Will be enjoying other meal as order a veg box . Delivery was on time and a lovely lady delivered it. Thank u cooks will benordering again very soon.

I have had the large steak in red wine for 2 and did tell cook Winchester that there were too many onions. I bought a steak and ale individual pie this week and there were only around 7 pieces of meat the rest was onion as per the photo. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement.

My gluten intolerant wife recently called into COOK in Winchester looking for gluten free ready made meals to take into work as a nurse at Winchester hospital. Unfortunately she is unable to find any gluten free meals at the hospital. What a wonderful experience she told me about when she was shown what she could buy at COOK by one of the lovely team. When he heard about her being a nurse and the gluten free challenges she faces he gave her several meals free of charge. What wonderful customer care and service. She will certainly be back to such a caring shop.

I have sampled 8 different dishes from Cook Winchester. All of them were of outstanding quality, excellent flavour, and cooked to a very high standard. It does seem to be the case that the staff have little interest in food and wine. For all the enthusiasm they display, they may as well be working in the burger restaurant opposite. This is a shame, but the food itself is impeccable.

Pushy sales staff who had no idea of their environmental policy. They don?t take back the plastic trays which we can?t recycle locally (they didn?t know that either - she misinformed me I could). Against my judgement, I bought a fish pie for £29 for Christmas Eve. I asked the lady not to print a receipt which she said she couldn?t do.I followed the instructions to the letter but after 80 minutes in the oven it was still cold in the centre. I ended up microwaving individual portions on Christmas Eve. The pie itself was mediocre and fairly bland. I should have made one.Really really poor. I will never ever shop there again. I would give zero stars if I could.

A food review. Amazing food every time Thai green curry amazing and tender, Lamb diopiatz best ever patak's should take note. Pudding well where to start pavlova full of flavor, to die for . Thank you keep up the amazing work
