Tried to call them first to make sure they were open but nobody answering the phone. Then when we arrived, hardly any lights on in the shop made it look closed from the outside and then once inside (even this wasn?t easy as one set of doors were locked but with no sign telling you to use the other doors), the manager said he?s been on to Head Office to change the bulbs but they?re ignoring his requests! The end result, it was too dark to see the carpets properly! A most bizarre experience.

awful experience. Still waiting on fitters, who the store seems to have lost.....The people at the store are fine. They seem to have no interest in ensuring the carpets are fitted once you have bought them, but they seem nice, if clueless, when you call. Our fitters were meant to come yesterday, and didn't. When I called carpetright this morning they said that they would be right on it, and call me straight back. 5 hours later, having heard nothing back, and called to no answer, I go to the store, to be told they have absolutely no idea where the fitters are and can't get hold of them. They do not know when, if ever, they will fit the carpet.It didn't seem like this was an uncommon occurrence from the matter of fact response "probably not today", when asked when they would come.Having waited around a month and a half for the booking slot, and taken all the furniture out of the rooms for the fitting, I would say these people are wasting your time. I?ve got a bookcase stacked on top of a chest of draws in a bathroom for no reason now, and its not clear to me whether or not it should stay there, as I?ve no idea when these people intend to finish their work...Take your business somewhere else, this place isn't worth the hassle.

Linda the area manager was absolutely fabulous by working above and beyond to provide solutions for a legacy order on the old system!. Linda revised the plan, saved us money, advised exactly which carpet we would need despite limitations of quality dogs and children? it seems Years of experience makes all the difference. So happy we chose Carpet right. But be aware that the telephone customer service are awful and not personable and simple read off a guide sheet! Need more staff as good as Linda in Winchester store?

Don't go to carpet right people very poor service very unprofessional I ordered carpet and laminate in January and now end of March still no laminate. carpet measurement went wrong and and still hasn't done anything they cancel my fitting date for laminate two weeks ago still don't have any date for fitting they don't answer my calls and not email even I asked them give my money back but no respose

Really badUpdate, my 70 year old mum's carpet was laid the week before Christmas...order was placed on 31st July. No accoubtability, no responsibility taken, no support, even when an official complaint was made, no one bothers to contact her.Our initial order was incorrectly placed by an employee - mistakes happen.I expected the order to be rectified, managed through their system, and for me to be provided with updates.Approx. 2 weeks from rejecting the carpet, I've heard nothing, nor has my mum (and hers is being treated as VIP!). I have no faith that the order has gone through. I've received no confirmation, no order number, no phone call, nothing.I left a voicemail first thing, still awaiting a call back 2 hours later.Will never shop here again or recommend this shop.
