Wouldn't normally leave a review for Boots, but I went here to use the pharmacy and everyone was so nice. The customer advisor and the pharmacist were lovely and did not make me feel embarrassed at all. Great customer service!

I would like to extend my gratitude to one of the pharmacists that works here now, she's an absolute beaut haha anyways a few years ago she stopped me buying codeine, I want her to know there are only good feelings. Little did she know it kickstarted a whole new lifestyle for me. I am extremely grateful she had the guts to say I had a problem. I know she only did her job but it wasn't easy. I had an addiction that was out of control tbh however I have since lost 10 stone and do not touch them anymore. She played a huge part in saving my life. I would hate to see where I would've been now without some sort of intervention. Because of what she did I have become interested in getting to know her, however unfortunately I dont think it's reciprocated and thats on me. Someone is or will be very lucky to have her. I dont want to come in and hold up the queue of people seeking medical attention while I ask her out. Im not selfish and I dont think she would appreciate it. Anyways I'll leave it upto her if she wants a new friend or not ? just thank you for what you did, i'm very proud of myself tbh, not in a smug way, just enough that I always have a smile on my face. I smile at her, she helped bring it back, it was lost for a long time. Then I saw hers ? sometimes a smile is just a smile though! I would like to hear from her but in the meantime I will keep doing what I'm doing because it's working. Helping people makes me feel amazing and alot need help. I hope this review finds her and it gives her that warm, fuzzy feeling haha Anyways take care, be happy and smile because it is an amazing smile ?

i am appalled. only went to buy a concealer and got followed around by a security guard. so off putting and dehumanising. followed me right up to the section i was going to. makes you feel awful and uncomfortable. gave my money to superdrug instead. disgusting. do better

I went to boots on the 12th march 2025. Me and my friends tried what we thought was a tester but turns out it wasn?t. It was half used, had no cap on and it was covered in brown dry shampoo. We were then told off for using it as it in fact wasn't a tester. We said sorry then put it down. Then the security guard came up to us all mad shouting saying ?who sprayed that?. We then said we didn?t know it wasn?t a tester and said sorry again. He then told us to pay or get out. We decided to pay although it was half empty and used. He was then talking to people in his walkie talkie about us and followed us out of the shop. I think this is very unprofessional following minors out of a shop and down the high street who done nothing wrong. I think this should be dealt with professionally towards the security.

Had all our travel vaccinations today. Very expensive but alternative options offered. Explained in detail. Lovely lead pharmacist Adrian was delightful, helpful and professional.

The pharmacist is terrible not only did I have to queue for 40mins before being served but when I got to the counter they could not find my prescription, after a further 10mins wait while they found
the pharmacist they then found my prescription.
My prescription is sent electronically from my doctors but this happens EVERY time!!!
If I could a ZERO I would.

I went to boots Winchester today 04/11/2024, a Monday and I got followed around like a thief by the security guy on today this morning.
I have never in my life felt disrespected, disappointed, disgusted by how I was followed around this morning by that security person.
Boots Winchester is that how your customers are supposed to be treated??? Just because I?m black doesn?t mean I enter every shop to steal.
And that item was even a 2.50 item.
Why on earth will I steal a 2.50 items and leave the premises?
I got my day ruined just because of that untrained security guy on duty this morning at boots.
You guys can do better.
Train your staff well!!!!!

Pharmacy is too small for the city. It is the MAIN pharmacy and it is tiny, understaffed, slow to process essential prescriptions. Will text saying its ready when it's only half ready. Endless queues. Come on. It's been like this for a minute. The pharmacy needs to expand, there is literal space in the store for this to happen. Employ more qualified pharmacists instead of 20-somethings. Expand. This is an on going issue every time I visit. There are TWO chairs for waiting and I am young disabled and elderly or disabled have to queue for ages. It is a shambles. This could be improved so much and I can't fathom why this pharmacy is still so small, under staffed, busy, always being told once a month their 'system is down' or 'computer screen froze'. It's 2024. Having moved to Winchester recently this has become a huge stress in my life. Money needs to be put into expansion because this is making people unwell, making sick people worse, and probably quite stressful for the staff that are friendly and helpful. Please, please expand this pharmacy.

Chloe helped my mum to find a perfect foundation shade and she was so helpful about how to apply it and so knowledgeable. I cannot say how kind and friendly she was.

The pharmacy staff are so friendly and helpful once you get to the front but the queues are unacceptably long and they rarely answer the phone. I can't stand in a queue for a long time at the moment. There is quite a long delay between prescriptions being sent from the gp and the pharmacy ordering them in so I worry about running out. Please answer the phone!!!!!
