Nice pub, food is a little expensive but good quality. The drinks are absolutely extortionate. Cost me over £11 for a double vodka and coke, when there is no deals at any time this unfortunately means this can't be classed as a friendly local.
They have since changed the pizza recipe and it is now terrible.

Shockingly bad service. 25 minutes and nobody had come to take our order so we had to remind them of our existence! 30 minutes after ordering still no food, so had to complain again. 15 minutes after complaining still no food despite being told it would be 2 minutes. Go somewhere else!

A lovely little hidden gem in Whiteley. Great beer, lovely atmosphere and the beer garden is divine on a sunny day.

This is a regular stop off when I cross the channel by ferry. It's a nice building with ample outside seating which is very popular in warmer weather. It's always busy so I book. The food is not high end, but good. Last time I had a chicken fillet burger which was dry, this time I had pulled pork chips with cheese and crispy beef. Good sized portions and tasty. I ordered at the table and service was efficient once the server found me. Drinks are expensive a 250ml glass of white wine was £10.50. The thing i love about this place is that it is very dog friendly and has a circular woodland walk just by the car park which is excellent for exercising dogs before going on a ferry. I always come here and will continue to do so.

Great place for a quiet lunch and drink during the week. The garden is lovely and nice in the sun.
Not been outside of that, so not sure how busy it gets in the evening or weekends.

There is now a barrier across the car park entrance that opens automatically, then registrations have to be logged at either the hotel or the Parsons Collar. The two Blue Badge spaces to the left of the entrance are not specifically allocated so can be used for the bar or lodge guests. The pub is geared for sports with plenty of large screens. There is an outdoor rear garden area and ample indoor seating. The menu is varied and mostly routine pub grub. No clear character decoration so feels quite minimalistic and canteenish. Service was friendly and orders accurate for a party of 12.

Sunday roast very dry, veg looked like it had been waiting around a while, plate was cold, food lukewarm, gravy was hot & tasty, meat was curled up at the side & tough & dry. Potatoes were really hot & tasty.
Staff were lovely and friendly.

The food was nice, the problem was it did take 30 minutes for it to come out. We were the only ones eating I think when we went in.

Had fish and chips. The Fish batter had beer in it and was nice and light. Fish was nice and golden, but needed a tad seasoninh. Overall fine as a meal. The place is brighter than your usual pub given that the wood was painted white. Clientele was fine, mostly guests at the nearby hotel.

Drinks are great - wouldn?t return for food. Pork belly starter came out cold, chicken wings cremated and gammon croquettes had one tiny piece of gammon in each

Only had drinks, so I can't vouch for the food besides saying that it smelt amazing and looked great. Bathrooms were very clean. Really enjoyable atmosphere and will definitely be back.
