Took an order at 8.24pm then cancelled it without telling us. They say they stay open until 9pm.
Left us with no food. Avoid.

Can't complain about the food, tasted great, looked great and portion sizes were great. We visited at 6pm and the restaurant was near enough empty, only 2 other tables were taken, the service staff were nice enough, however did notice they two lads seemed more.interested in having a chat with each other than serving.
Wait time for the food was a little long considering the few people who were seated. There didn't seem to be much of an atmosphere within the establishment, and the music was being played slightly too loud meaning conversations needed to be louder.
Cleanliness of the restaurant was also a little below par, the window booth in which we were seated had sweets strewn around it.
Overall we would go back at a different time of service. The food definitely saved it on this occasio.

We celebrated a 96th birthday with 11 family members enjoying a brunch on Saturday 8th February. We'd Luke to thank Becky for her patience and attention to serving us well with a smile.

Went to this establishment for my great nans 99th birthday. We had a lovely time, with our server, Jamie, providing us with a lovely evening with good service and even better jokes! The atmosphere was light and friendly, partly due to Jamie?s hospitality. However, our food wasn?t amazing, as some of the dishes came out slightly cold, and some just didn?t taste very nice. We?d be happy to come again, as Jamie made our experience a good one, but the food was very subpar.

I came here with my family and 2 friends. The staff that came to take the drinks order was knowledgeable onbth3 menu and was polite. We them ordered our food, again all good. Until the food began to arrive, the first item to arrive was a bacon burger (not ordered a chicken burger was), the Mac and cheese was bland, had little to no taste and was extremely bland, no cheese taste at all, this was returned and no replacement requested, just to be removed from the bill. We also ordered a chicken stack with ribs. The ribs were acceptable, nothing special. The chicken was cut into 2 pieces, the first was poor quality, it had a texture similar to fish, was a bit slimy and not pleasant, the second half was OK, again nothing special. Slightly after this a member of management cane up with the Mac and cheese boxed up to takeaway, again it had to be explained that this was bit requested and that it was in fact returned and wasn't wanted! A further manager then came over, she was brilliant! She took the time to discuss the issue (she spoke English as a second language) But was brilliant, she was knowledgeable in the business and the products and was interested in the feedback! We requested a jug of tap water, the first jug arrived, when we requested a second, there was apparently no jugs so 4 pint glases of water were supplied instead!
The food was pricey for the quality, overall service was good, but there us certainly room for improvement.

So I took my mum to Frankie & Benny?s in Whiteley. Despite pre-booking and stipulating on the booking that my mum would be attending and using a mobility scooter. However, upon arriving I was informed that there was no space for a mobility scooter and my mum would need to leave it outside in the rain and walk in. I was horrified by this response as my mum has limited mobility. when I pointed this out to the hostess she said we are unable to accommodate and I said what happens if somebody was wheelchair dependent she said I don?t know, we can?t accommodate them we don?t have the space, specially given the fact it?s half term. I was absolutely horrified to experience the lack of inclusivity regarding people with disabilities.

Food took over an hour to arrive despite it not being busy at all. It was mildly warm at best when it eventually did arrive and was missing one of the sides.
Whiteley has lots of restaurant options- try them first!

Haven?t been to Frankie & bennies for a few years but I can honestly say the food tonight was absolutely exceptional and the staff are so polite and professional but also had a little giggle with us, my two children said it was the best meal they had in a long time ??
