Brilliant food and such friendly owners. Thoroughly enjoyed our time here in this cosy little pub. Nice British Hawkstone Lager and Cider! Must try.

We, as a family have eaten here several times and was always pleased with the food, staff and prices. However this time, the staff were still as good and the food very nice, but we were disappointed at the lack of variety on menu and the smaller portions.
All in all still a good meal in pleasant surroundings.

Perfect flavour Burger, broccoli very tasty, chips just right salty,Coffee refreshingly yummy. Had lovely time eating, high quality food. Would definitley visit again. Best pub in St Mary Bourne :)

Lovey pub in the countryside food is lovely especially the Sunday roast, Which was nice and hot and a good size and was happy for me to swap my Cauliflower cheese for an extra Yorkshire instead! Staff was polite and friendly And not to forget they sell the best beer here Hawkstone larger and Cider hopefully they will stock the Hawkstone hedgerow and IPA soon :)

Proper village pub, that punches above it's weight. Good selection of beers, kept well. Friendly and hard working team, esp Ben the boss. They are dog and child friendly. Food is reliably good & there is plenty of space to eat indoors or outside, in their recently refurbished courtyard. In colder weather they have 2 open fires and space for having a drink if you're not dining, which is very welcome after a country walk.

The George Inn was a lovely Sunday afternoon experience. Quiet drink with my English lass, staff were happy and attentive. We will be back. Meals looked delicious ?
