Lovely local Indian takeaway serving amazing food. We are local and probably visist once a month. Always busy with locals. Sometimes there is a bit of a wait but they have comfy chairs, TV, daily newspaper. All staff are very warm and friendly and the food is fabulous. Whenever my in laws visit once of their first comments is can we get an Indian!

Where do I start!!! The chap was nice enough that served me although there was a strange atmosphere and they kept looking through the door at me, it felt like they were checking to see if I was looking, then I got the food!!! Soo much oil..... We all know to cut the cost they bulk the food out with oil and it just ruins it, hardly any keema in the narm bread and the rice was dry. Never again hot spice!!! If you have any sense go to the Pink Olive in Andover.

We really enjoyed our takeaway on Saturday night between the music session and the concerts at Whitchurch Folk Festival. The vegetable balti was amazing, as was the aloo gobi. And the chap who served us took great care in checking the ingredients with me as a coeliac gluten free diner.

We were staying in Whitchurch overnight and Hot Spice was opposite the hotel, after checking out the wide variety in their menu I was sold! The chicken mowchak was absolutely fantastic, and something I've not seen on a menu before, my partner had the cheesy chicken tikka which was a little spicy for him, but again delicious!We had funny conversations with the gentlemen behind the counter about dentists, GP's and family, the vibe was very cosy and wholesome. I would love the opportunity to visit again and sample something else that my local curry houses do not offer!

DO NOT ORDER FROM THERE IF YOU HAVE ANY FOOD RESTRICTIONS. We have ordered 3 times from there, 3 times asking for no coriander on the food and 3 times collecting the food and finding out there was coriander all over the food. 3 TIMES !! They also refused to refund us, AND dare to ask for the food with coriander back first, before providing us with the food without coriander.

Fantastic Indian food. When the rest of the town's kitchens are closed you are left with one option, Hot Spice ... and that is not a bad thing. Their menu is huge, food was amazing and was ready at the pick up time.

Whitchurch is lucky to have Hot Spice! My husband and I were staying in town for a few nights and most of the restaurants were closing early due to the bank holiday. We ordered takeaway from Hot Spice, and were we ever glad we did! The set meal for 2 was plenty of food for the two of us. We really loved the saag aloo and chicken jalfrezi. Would absolutely order from here again next time we visit.
