Great home made curry, but also a good general menu. Recommended by a local camping site and great recommendation it was too.. good ales on tap as well. Lovely people that run the place.

A great find of a pub, everyone really friendly and chatty. We both had curry one a Jalfrezi and a karahi both were superb probably best curries had. Both were full of flavour. Made freshly and authentic. We were passing through but if ever back in this area would definitely eat here again.

Visited with a friend for dinner on a Thursday evening. Very warm welcome and sat at a nice table in the restaurant/bar. The lady who looked after was very friendly and efficient. There is a limited menu, just how l like it, as the food is cooked freshly. The meals were both excellently prepaired and presented. Apart from the bar part getting very loud later in the evening, hence 4 stars, it was a very nice evening with the food being the star. Thank you. Recommended .

Visited this lovely little village pub whilst on holiday in the area. We have family living close by and took them here for a treat. We could not fault the food, the service was excellent and everyone was very helpful and friendly with our Grandsons. Would recommend it to anyone I know that would be passing through. Thank you very much ?

2 couples out for a walk with 3 dogs, stopped at the Lord Nelson for a drink and some food. The barmaid who took our order was polite and very helpful.
The food was amazing. The chef went out of his way to make fresh Naan bread for our kebabs, delivering them to our table personally with the barmaid.
After our meal, the barmaid recommended taxi numbers for us to get back to our air bnb.
Highly recommend a visit here for food.
