“Had a slow puncture which was getting worse, so I took my car to Purbrook tyres for the 1st time. I was very impressed with the excellent, friendly service; Mick explained the procedure and due to the position of the offending nail a new tyre replaced the punctured one. He explained that the position of the nail necessitated a new tyre under the present day safety regulations. The procedure was quick, efficient and included a wheel balance and all other tyre pressures were checked and corrected, I fully recommend this company, thanks a lot Mick.”

“My business partner used Tony's tyres last week and when I found a slow puncture on my van, he suggested I go to Tony's.I arrived at 0915 this morning, one car was being attended too with another booked in afterwards. The guy (didn't want to be named) was very personable and asked if I would give it an hour or so.An hour later I arrived and was ushered into position. The technician set to work and it was obvious that he was very experienced, professional and customer focused. I spoke about the laughable review given by what appears to me as quite a bitter and sad, lonely man, however, I received no comment from the technician (a very professional response I thought)The screw in the tyre was found and in the blink of an eye the rubber was off the alloy and being warmed ready for the repair.The service was excellent, speedy, professional, and overall, a good experience. Why would anyone go to a national retailer when this little gem is working away delighting customers and building an exceptional reputation.I offered a £50 note which was welcomed however I did find a smaller denomination note which again was also welcomed and exchanged. Thus, I can only conclude that all notes are welcomed at Tony's Tyres and not as mentioned in other reviews! I believe that it is not the denomination of note that's the issue but the behaviour of the person offering said note. You don't need a £50 note or any other money to that end, to be respectful and nice, a life lesson I learnt at a very early age.If you want value for money, great customer service and an easy quick and efficient tyre repair you only need to go to Tonys Tyres, where not only are the tyres guaranteed but so is the warm welcome.”

“I have been a customer of Denmead rares for just under 50 years.The service has been first rate in the past, price matching other suppliers including online supply and fit. They didn't this time! One of the valve caps wasn't fitted with 2 grey one black. Pressures 4 bar too high in each tyre..Disappointed”
