Avoid. Never ever write reviews, however this place deserves it. Normally order from shalimar a few doors down, but decided to give this place a go. Shocking doesn?t come close. Ordered online and was given a 45 minute wait time. Called after an hour and was told it was out for delivery and they hung up the phone. I left it another ten minutes (I live five minutes drive away) and I called back. He told me I was lying about how long I had waited and hung up again. I phoned back and told him I was coming down in person. I walked in the shop and asked to speak to the person who had put the phone down on me twice, and with the only person there, it was pretty clear. But no, he swore blind it was the delivery driver who was now out delivering my food. He said sorry for him and that he would talk to him. I Returned home, and the food had been delivered after an hour and twenty minutes. Surprise surprise. Cold food, hair in it and the wife called them back to ask for a refund. He the proceeded to lie again and said to her he had given me a refund in person - which he definitely did not, and then hung up on her. God knows how this place is still in business, but if you?re looking for an Indian that offers good food or any sort of customer service, don?t come here. Steer well clear of this place.

Asked specifically for dishes with no mushrooms. Was recommended Kasmiri Rice on the phone. When we got the order home they had given us two mushroom rices Instead of the Kasmiri. It was disgusting and I can't eat it.

Rude behaviour. The lady behind the counter was ok ,but the guy who came out from their kitchen was so rude. When i mentioned that charging for card transactions , he became aggressive and told me "I don't care if its illegal or not" . I will avoid in future

Ordered some chefs recommendations Hariyali, Khadary and a mango chicken. Guy serving was really friendly. Food was collected on time, piping hot and really delicious! Couldn't recommend this place enough! Support your local businesses!

Ordered some chefs recommendations, suggested by the friendly guy who served me. We ordered a few starters, then mains Hariyali, Khadary and a mango chicken, with fried rice, naans and a cheeky pineapple fritter. Food was collected on time, piping hot and really delicious! Unique flavours, not like the typical kormas and masallas. Couldn't recommend this place enough!

Waited nearly 2 hours no update from them. Food arrived and was left on door step with its contents open and falling out curry everywhere! Luckily got to delivery driver although trying to make a quick exit. Called spice box and said there is nothing they can do if I want refund have to go through their website 3rd party chef online. Now being told chef online have to contact store and refund can take 7 days ! Restaurant told us its instant. So new years eve no food no money. Everyone shouting down the phone in the background at me was truly awful experience. What a way to end 2020.

Food is excellent but last order my curry was missing so ate rice had curry one hour later. This time both our rice is missing we ordered 2x garlic rice and got 1 pillau rice complained on phone they sending it out. Waited but got so hungry so ate curry and bit rice 2 hours later our rice still hasnt arrived not using again shame good curries just can't trust them to get order right .

I ordered a takeaway which although hot but quite salty and slightly greasy food, it was edible. I was charged £18.90 for the following:Chicken Tikka Bhuna £6.10... Vegetable Rice: £3.50... Portion of onion Bahjis £2.75, Cheese Naan: £3.15 and £0.95 for Mint sauce. The menu also states a 10% reduction if you order over £15.00 on collection. I was deliberately overcharged when questioned. No discount given at all and prices were made up on the spot.90.
