We arrived at 19:30 and found instructions easy to follow regarding parking and access. However, the music from the bar below was very noisy and reverberated through the room (room 2) until 23:40 which meant it was impossible to sleep. The room was clean and bed comfortable. So, OK if you won't be back until late, but wouldn't recommend if you need an early night!

Booking was easy. Lovely room clean and comfortable. Great food and drink choose. Would recommend to everyone staff amazing make you feel welcome. Area is nice Waterlooville close to Portsmouth. Will book with 73 again

Really convenient place to stay with 3 kids- spacious suite and much cheaper than 3 hotel rooms would have been. Clean and comfortable. Brilliant before a Portsmouth ferry!

Food was amazing and can highly recommend it. Entertainment was Sean Sings Elvis and it was a fantastic show. Great time and will definitely be going again.

Had such a great meal and experience at 73 for Sunday Lunch on our first visit . We decided to go back on the Saturday evening a week later to have small plates and tapas ?. Altogether a different vibe . We were not disappointed. The food was again great quality . The staff were attentive but not overbearing . On the back of my two great experiences at 73 , I have persuaded my Southsea friends who almost never go out of Southsea to eat come for Sunday lunch at number73 . Fingers crossed that they will think that the food is as amazing as I do .

We booked out 4 rooms because we were going to a function nearby, the rooms were all really nice, nice decor, very big rooms, reallyclean, great beds & bedding - small fridge in room too.

Room for two but only one chair and that wasn't an easy chair and only one teaspoon to share between two people.Don't think this is very good.Room good, clean and tidy but not as shown in picture.

Very noisy pub and the food is less than average. Would recommend choice of Tapas only, can't really go wrong with that.

Needed last minute accommodation on a Friday of the Goodwood festival weekend could not believe the extortionate rates being asked for 1 nights stay , I had the good fortune to find overnight accommodation at rooms at 73 , at a reasonable rate the the standard of accommodation was high but as a lone female guest I found it to be safe as well as comfortable and what has ensured my return and high recommendation of this business is the welcome & hospitality of the management and staff of the adjourning kitchen and bar nothing was too much trouble it was pleasure to Have at this accommodation and to dine at the adjourning facilities

Pleasant evening and staff were friendly and attentive. Meal was okay but not in my opinion worth the higher than average price . We understand that due to covid the menu has been pared back but choice is limited and vegetables and fries are not included with mains. Average of £55 per head for meal and drinks

I have happily experienced this greatly refurbished bar before, however tonight was sadly lacking.After receiving my initial drinks, followed closely by our main meal, we were abandoned. No confirmation of the quality (I ordered medium and received well done) and no further drink request. Furthermore our patient wait of 15 minutes from cleared plates forced us to leave the table and pay on our way out.Very disappointed tonight.
