Just had tea and cake at this lovely little coffee shop, which is attached to the church so shares some of the unique features, such as a vaulted ceiling. The tea was good and plentiful. The banana/choc chip muffins were some of the best I've tasted. All very good value for money. The volunteers running the place we're very friendly and my daughter was offered a picture to colour and given a prize for it once complete. Just a small selection of food on offer the afternoon we went, but not bad for a place this size. The overall feel of the place is lovely, including photos & historical info of the Swanmore area hung on the walls. We will definitely plan a return visit.

If your idea of a community coffee shop is an urn in the corner of the village hall then think again. Located in the middle of Swanmore, Barnaby's may be run and staffed by volunteers but the quality is great. An extensive range of fresh barista-made coffee, home made cakes etc. Eat in or take away. I am delighted to see that it is up and running again after a COVID-enforced break and is back to an improved schedule of opening hours...check their website for details.
