Rude staff and offer signs placed on shelves which the store won't honour

All the staff are help and well nice people even the new owner is a good chap. But this is the expensive Spar shop I have ever been to. I want some clear parcel tape there price £2.99 I brought a roll of the very same tape 1 month ago for £1.99 gone up by a pound. Food stock gone up from 1.29 to 2.29 Milk 4 pints £1.75 the other spar shop £1.45. Biscuits marked on packet £1.00 they will try to charge you £1.29. A letter £1.45 Same letter to be sent from post office Winchester £1.05 if you got loads of money go otherwise go else where and pay the correct amount shame spar is a convenient store but the prices are way to much

Sold (not advertised) item which exceeded the BBE date and ignored the private message despite it being "seen" when I reached out via Facebook - disappointing folks! Whilst not my local shop, whenever I pass I've always popped in to pick up a few bits of local produce which I enjoy. Whilst I appreciate oversights occur, a simple response that offered return or exchange would've been suitable and appreciated. Alas... !

I?d just like to say it was a bit of a pleasure visiting Twyford Post Offices & Stores & Casino this morning. This is one of the best shops I?ve ever been to. Luxuriantly stocked with goods and wares from the basic to the opulent. Four stars out of five - dare I say even the proverbial four and a half stars.Yours sincerely,PEH & DRH xx

I have been there today to deliver the shops parcel. First of all, I walk in to ask where they need the heavy parcel, because most of the shop has loading door/bay. Without saying hi or answer my question, he was saying rudly "FACEMASK" I asked her again politely, than I got the same answer. Than I said to her. I won't ask it again. He told me, bring in the shop, and need to wear the face mask. You should buy 1 if you don't have. I walked out, moved the heavy parcels up to the stores on the steps, than put it into the stores from outside. She was ignoring me, she kept herself rude. I walked in to ask her name, and her name is "face mask" so after that I got bit angry of this situation. First of all, I am keyworker, I think we can get respect as well. Also I have asthma, and other health issues. I know its not visible, but before she does any rude attitudes, just place question about the" idiot" who doesn't wear face mask.

Best village shop I have ever seen- I know this sounds silly but it genuinely is brilliant. The only downside is that it's impossible not to spend more than planned because of how many lovely things they have!

Twyford Stores is fantastic for all your needs and is one of the first places locally to stock refill eco household products - laundry and cleaning as well as shampoo, conditioner etc. Prices are no more expensive than adding more plastic to the environment & buying another bottle - just take your empty ones along & refill them! More places need to do this & hopefully will follow, but well done Twyford Stores for this valuable initiative!

We absolutely love this store! We live in CC and don?t like our local coop shop, so we were looking alternative. Twyford stores have a great selection of fresh food, nice, friendly and helpful staff and post office! Is just great, 10 out of 10! Thank you guys for being there

As a local farm worker I was looking forward to visiting Twyford village store for my lunch break. After buying multiple items I wondered if it might be okay to ask for some hot water for some instant noodles I was planning on eating. To my shock, I was charged £2.40 for less than 250ml of hot water! I felt completely let down that a shop that prides it self of community spirit would treat a young local man like that. It would have cost them nothing to give me a small measure of water. It must be noted that the range of other goods in the stores was good, especially the snacks and crisps. However, from now on I will be boycotting Twyford Village stores.

Didn?t realise how good this place is until I called this morning and asked if they could deliver some groceries to my mum, no problem for them at all and happy to take payment over the phone!Regular in the area and often pop in for bits and pieces and will certainly fully support this great place in the furtherJim Mills

Friendly and well stocked! A beautiful shop with the only Post Office that I could find open during the Covid crisis on a Saturday afternoon, all the others being closed or on 'reduced hours' which do not cater to key workers who cannot get to the PO during normal work days. Well done and thanks for your support.

This shop /Post Office is great. Delicious local produce at fair prices, including a wide range of wines and spirits from both local (eg Hambledon wine and Twisted Nose Gin) and wider. Post Office hours match the opening hours of 7am-7pm every day. Lovely people running it too.
