My friend needed another car urgently, after crashing his, to go to work. I showed the cashier the photo of the damaged car.
As my friend had to wait a few days to get his insurance money, I went to Lloyds Bank in Totton asking to withdraw some money to pay for my friend's car.
I was bombarded with security questions. I answered all of them, but the cashier refused to give me MY money.
I told her I was late for the appointment to pick up the car and that she could check with the Manager of the Suzuki garage down the road.
She refused to ring the Manager and asked me to show her the receipt. I told her that I could not do that until I bought the car.
I was feeling very frustrated by this experience and left the bank fuming without any money. Fortunately, I went to the garage and paid most of what was owed for the car with my mastercard.

Very helpful but always only appears to be only one teller at the desk dealing with customers!

Horrendous opening hours. They also don't process deposit of cash to a non Lloyds bank account.

One star is too many ! Appalling customer service Lloyds - you should be utterly ashamed. 90 mins I spent waiting for you to pick up the phone and then to get NOWHERE and the Totton branch shuts at a pathetic 2pm !! Let me guess - oh it's the fault of covid ! jumping on bandwagon springs to mind. Very many companies are OPEN all day - so why aren't you ?? The staff must be loving it OMG. All Banks give lousy service and are Rip off merchants but boy oh boy - service is now non existent / in the gutter - shameful doesn't come close !!!

Why no Saturday opening? Opening hours are not suitable to nhs staff/workers who work Monday to Friday

Visited on Thursday afternoon at 2.30pm. I waited around 10 minutes for a simple counter transaction, there were just two people on the ground floor of the building, one cashier and one on enquiries - very poor. Cashier was fine, the problem was the lack of staff on duty or call.

This branch of LloydsTSB is huge with plenty of counter space and a separate area for customer enquiries. The service in the branch has always been friendly and helpful. The bank has recently gone through a renovation which in my opinion it really didn't need but non-the-less it is a nice layout and welcoming.
