Overall all the food I have had has been good. There is a good selection of items for lunch which will not break the bank. Staff are friendly and helpful but on busy days the service is dreadful. 45 minute wait for an already made pudding is ridiculous. Coffee and teas coming to table at different time. On our last visit one of my friends had to go and ask for her tea as she needed to leave at a particular time and had already waited for 20 minutes.

Came here for Easter egg hunt and Saturday lunch time BBQ . Food was excellent, outside space protected from the British weather and small children?s play area an added bonus. Really good to see the staff going the extra mile , we will return !

A lucky find. Very friendly staff serving good food at reasonable prices. 3 generation family visit and all of us happy with the food. They even modified the lunch menu choices a little to accommodate our preferences.

I was in the area for the week and had dinner/lunch here three times. The food is fantastic and the Guinness is top notch - and the staff are also very helpful and friendly!

Had Sunday lunch at the Pelican. Very warm welcome on arrival and lovely friendly service throughout the meal. Food was of a very high standard too and we will certainly be returning.
