Wow. Incredibly rude female spoken to over the phone. I called asking if a vehicle I have taken ownership of was ever serviced by them, which she confirmed it was over the phone. Asked if she could put just that in writing and she refused?? Stated that as I didn't own the vehicle at that time they wouldn't put it in writing?? Clearly issues around understanding Dpa. I have not asked for the previous owners details, just written confirmation that they had serviced it, which she confirmed over the phone anyway. Told me if I wanted anything in writing, I would need to apply for previous owners details and permission??

I have known Nigel for years and have been taking my car to Mendem for as long. I would not go anywhere else. They are scrupulously honest, thorough and accommodating. I trust them absolutely with my 19 year old car and if it needs some TLC, I know it will get it at Mendem because they have never let me down.

Excellent service. Went out of their way to ensure the car was fixed before Christmas. Very friendly and professional team. Would highly recommend and will use again for any faults with the car.

Highly recommended, I have used them five times for repairs, mot, servicing. Good engineers and quick turn around times . A rare garage with reasonable prices . Pick up service excellent .The reviews by all the crims are a bit weird though (they used to do police recovery )

Great service, lovely people and really good prices. I would recommend Mendems services in a heartbeat. The mechanics are very good and they can turn their hands to most things and give you a full explanation of the work carried out. Good old fashioned service where they actually take time with the customer and deliver what they say at a great price.

Don't know yet haven't had work on car done yet. But do know parts for ssangyong korando very f****** expensive nearly had a heart attack. New clutch fitted £2ooo for parts took a day and half-day to do only problem didn't phone me to say car ready to pickup car. Had to have a reconditioned prop shaft fitted problem still their. reconditioned gearbox and 4 wheel drive box fitted still same problem said that thay couldn't fix problem. Had to take car to ssangyong dealer turned out to need rear dif a lot of money spent for things that were not needed. Not a happy bunny

I had a moped stolen of my drive and after a few weeks the police found it, gave it to mendem motor's who tried to charge me a recovery fee more than I had actually paid for the moped( this happened a while back maybe a few years) I was spoken to like dirt by a female over the phone she wouldn't let me see my moped to check the damage unless I paid I think it was about £175 give or take. The moped cost me £120 so I asked if I could at least get my belongings from the seat compartment, she said in a really rude manner if I'm not paying I wouldn't be allowed. As a victim of crime I couldn't believe they would treat me like that. Then I got a nasty letter saying that because I refused to collect it I could be charged for the destruction of the vehicle and if I refused to pay the police could pursue it in a court. Disgusting attitude to a victim of crime I would never use this garage and tell people I know to avoid them because if they would treat a victim like that then they don't deserve customers. My review is very late after the incident but I just had their leaflet posted through my door and remembered I never did give them a review.
