It was not my first visit, and the garden was not looking at its best due to the hot weather. Not many people there yesterday, so it was lovely and tranquil, and we could just sit in the shade. The best time to visit is April /May when rhodendrons are in bloom. It's a bit like visiting a secret garden.

Very pretty gardens set around a series of shallow lakes. Sensitively managed to strike a balance between tidiness and wildlife. Needs about an hour to look around thoroughly.

Fantastic moderate sized garden. Lots of ponds and islands, incredible flowers and large amounts of trees. All of which very beautiful and maintained.

A little gem in the middle of nowhere. Not a huge garden, but a beautiful and tranquil place. Ideal for those who can't walk too far, lots of benches provided to sit and relax and enjoy the quietness. A lovely collection of perennials and some amazing specimens of healthy hostas. Once you've seen the garden i recommend you jump in your car and go to the cafe and nursery.

Beautiful gardens set within the Leckford Estate. Which is just outside the lovely village of Stockbridge. The garden itself is beautifully well maintained. The garden layout consists of a number of islands that are accessible by bridges. The entry fee for this beautiful garden is £10pp. Some reviews have stated that this is too much, but considering the beauty of this garden, I think it's a bargain. It is just perfect for sitting and enjoying the peacefulness and the beauty of nature.

Beautifully maintained space to wander and sit on the many benches to take in the greenery, watch the wildlife, listen to the birdsong and woodpeckers pecking. Love the discreet labels on many of the plants and trees. Well thought out and laid out with fairly level walkways on compacted stone, grass and wood bridge pathways to islands and throughout. Pristine accessible toilets. Parking on grass area by cherry blossom trees over the road from the entrance. £10 for 2.5hr am or pm slot. Very few others so I assume numbers are limited and it feels like you have the place almost to yourself. Annual pass £40 new this season so not completely clear on how that will work. Almost didn't post this review in the hope it doesn't become too popular and busy but we must share these gems of places. The price may put larger, possibly noisier groups off.

Visited on a quiet Saturday morning. Within easy walking of the Car park. A lovely place to relax and sit quietly by the water and watch the world go by or take a walk around the garden taking in all the beautiful plants and scenery. Spent a lovely couple of hours here. A small fee for entrance unless you're a John Lewis partner then it's free.

Lovely, quiet and peaceful. We were visiting in spring and there were plenty things to see - interesting plants, big fish, load of shoals of baby fish and a big bugs hotel. We hope to come back in the summer as we're looking forward to see the water lilies and other summer plants. They have a farm shop, nursery and a big lovely cafe and a new addition little cafe near by which the big cafe can get very busy.

Fabulous gardens, a lovely place to spend a few hours enjoying the flowers, ponds and waterlilies. In the summerhouse you can learn all about the history of the gardens. Free parking and toilet facilities.

The gardens are lovely, but I did feel the ten pounds per person entry fee was rather steep.

The most beautiful gardens you will find in Hampshire and surrounding counties. It is breath taking. The gardens are immaculate and beautifully designed round the ponds. There is a place to sit and meditate . I actually had tears in my eyes when I first went in. An absolute MUST to go
