A couple of good large size WH Smith?s within Southampton Airport, one in the main airport & one through departures. Good choice of all the regular brands we know, love & rely upon, as well as books, magazines etc.

Very expensive. Takes advantage of customers at this airport as it is so small.

No wonder they keep these outlets.
Overpriced.

Workers were friendly. Normal prices for an airport - Meal deals for the win :)

This is quite a big W H Smith store. It is on two levels. They sell a large selection of magazines, books, stationery, games, cds, dvds and craft items. They also sell newspapers, drinks and chocolate bars. The prices are reasonable and they often give out money off vouchers for when you spend over a certain amount. The shop does get quite busy and so you can be queuing for a fairly long time. There is now a post office upstairs in the shop so the shop gets even busier. I have found on a few occasions that things I have bought have had the wrong price on. I have found the staff helpful most of the time and I always find what I am looking for.

Now that the Post Office has moved into the shop upstairs it's turned into a bun fight. Made the mistake of going up there with a pram and got stuck in the queue without realising it. Took about 5 minutes to navigate out of there. Downstairs are the magazines and books and upstairs are the CD's/ DVD's. But the shop isn't what it used to be since the post office moved in and I only really walk into the entrance to get magazines don't go much deeper into the shop for fear of never coming out again. It's now been taken over with Christmas paper and tags so be warned you have to search for the books!

This is a great place to go when you are in Town and need a magazine or a book but it does get very crowded even though it is a big store. There is an upstairs with a good range of stationary which is of good quality but it can be quite expensive. Also the post office is upstairs which is a nightmare as it takes up so much room and is always very busy, you have to wait for ages. Downstairs there is a good selection of books of which some are on offer and they have a fantastic range of magazine, you will always find what you need. The store is just not very well laid out so you get huddled together and find it hard to get through the shop. The staff are very friendly and are very helpful, always give you a smile.

You'll find all the newspapers and magazines you can possibly think of and some you can't. It also has a selection of books although not as wide a range as I would like. They have lots of stationary and dvds and games and office essentials upstairs, which is now also home to the Post Office.

Large store with an upstairs and downstairs offering lots of stationary, cards, books, photo albums etc. Unfortunately the top floor of this store has half been taken up with a post ofice which causes huge queues and no space to move upstairs. It doesn't really work well and certainly puts me off going upstairs. Staff are friendly and pleasant. Products seem reasonably priced and they often have some nice gift ideas in the Christmas ranges. Be prepared for queues though!

Can always find lots of stuff to buy in here, but as actualy shoping experiences go, it's not the best. Always seem to have large queues, and upstairs is a nightmare now that they've added a post-office. Would only recommend going late in the day or early morning etc. I believe there must be a lift, as can't see how many of the old people get up the stairs to the PO otherwise, not to mention those with pushchairs, but to be honest, I don't remember ever seeing it - they are proper stairs btw, not an escalator.

This Smiths is the place to go during the weekdays. At weekends, it is jam packed full of people who can be quite obnoxious to the fact that you would like to get past. The shop isn't laid out in a way that is suitable with different stationary jotted throughout the store. All in all, not one of the better shopping experiences but is large enough so that if you go in for something, you will almost certainly come out again with it, albeit after a bit of searching
