Absolutely awful. We use Salisbury branch normally which is outstanding. Couldn't fault them. We were in West Quay and my wife has been waiting for her eye solution to arrive for a week. She's getting low so I suggested we go in, as we are both customers on their records and see if we can get a bottle to see her through. The guy we dealt with was a cretin. He didn't seem to understand the basics of customers service, it seems they hand out a suit and a labotomy on employment at this branch. Really poor. We walked away with nothing and no help. If Salisbury wasn't so good I'd never use Vision Express again. I certainly won't be going near the West Quay one in a hurry. There's a shoe shop a couple of doors down, you're better off going in there for eye advice and help......

Been 15 mins noones answering can't chase where my lenses are should have a few boxes sent that I have paid 4 no sign of them how r u supposed to talk to anyone if no-one answers the phone to see wen they will be sent to me. Its now 16 mins in the phone I'll assume u no longer answer it shall I not happy no customer service

I recently had a scheduled appointment at this establishment, and unfortunately, the experience left much to be desired. Despite receiving a text confirmation the day before, upon my arrival, the staff couldn't locate my booking, resulting in a significant delay.After some time, I was offered a later appointment, which I accepted, opting to spend my time in town before returning. However, upon my return, I was informed that the required contacts hadn't arrived, leading to the cancellation of the appointment. This entire ordeal was a frustrating and time-consuming waste of my day.The lack of organization and communication was apparent, reflecting poorly on the management of the establishment. Basic details such as bookings and necessary contacts seemed to be overlooked, causing unnecessary inconvenience.I believe a more efficient and proactive management system could have easily prevented these issues. I hope this feedback serves as an opportunity for the business to address these concerns and improve the overall customer experience.

I received explementary service from Harry the optometrist and the rest of the team yesterday, I would definitely recommend Vision Express Southampton and Harry to anyone who wants to take care of their eye sight.

I was very happy to have my eye test withe the staff at West Quay with Vision Express. They are so much more professional and patient, Tommy spent the time to help me with the problems I had at the General Hospital re my appointments I've had and took a lot of problems on board , he was able to explain to me that took my worry away. I Left a happier customer that day. I have been a customer a long time and I praise your company many times . Thank you so much. Mrs M Allen.

The eye examination was good and the staffs were Ok, but overall their service delivery is extremely poor. Staffs were super busy. They don't have enough child glass selection. Once you choose one, they don't have the right size for you. Then they will suggest you adult glass range, paid higher. Once you were there for collection after abt 10 days, ended up with the wrong size not appropriate for the child. Again had to change the design/model, and luckily escaped the extra fee again, they reordered for their mistake, again abt 10 days, not knowing what will happen this time again. Wasting time, parking charges again. Forgot to say, finding an appointment within a week is always a real arcade game even for the collection! Overall a nightmare experience! Try to avoid if you want to survive...

What can I say. I've had an absolute nightmare with my Avri delivery of daily contacts. Their utter incompetence, coupled with my local branch being unable to assist in anyway has caused me undue stress. My last resort to get some lenses was a trip to the West Quay store. I have to say I was expecting little but received the best customer service ever!. The lady that looked after me was outstanding!. She furnished me with some emergency supplies AND contacted my local branch to sort the mess out for me!.This was a master class in customer service!. Give this lady a pay rise!

Too bad experience, the test result is not clear, very fast. Charge 25 pounds for less than 5 minutes, and then start selling high glasses for a long time. The attitude is extremely arrogant. The appointment time was 14:30, and I was called at 14:50. As a student, I gained nothing at all, and got two meaningless glasses. There is no other data, and the contact lens inspection needs to be rescheduled next time, and the payment will be made next time. It really makes people feel that this is a robbery aboveboard. I won't come back next time, and I will tell my friends not to come again. nausea

The staff at this place are horrendous. They are rude and careless towards the customers. I went in to request for them to fix the frame of my glasses and the lady at the reception was rude, rolling her eyes as I tried to explain what was wrong. Not only that, instead of helping me, she tells me to sit down and chats to her colleague whilst I?m still waiting. And to add to this, when the member of staff who was helping me, returns with my ?fixed glasses? they are not even fixed and instead another part of the frame was broken.They have wasted my time and my money and I would never recommend this place. Save your money.

I visited the store for my contact lens appointment. I waited 5 minutes to be served and then was told I am 7 minutes late to my appointment and we have to rebook. When I mentioned I arrived on time and you just made me wait as you didn?t have enough staff, they found another excuse and said we don?t have your contact lens at store and we have to reschedule. My question is why on Earth do you allow someone to book appointment when you know you don?t have lens supply at store. This has been my third bad experience at this store and that?s why I go to the London Oxford street branch if I need an optician. The problem is not just the staff rudeness and incompetence but the store manager is worse than the staff. She needs some basic customer service training.

I was taken in for my eye test on time and dealt with very professionally. Amba helped me look for frames although my prescription hadn't changed I thought I might like a change. Amba was very patient while I tried on a lot of different frames.

Went for a new test and decided to get new lenses for 2 of my current pairs of glasses. They said this will take 2 weeks. 1 month later, and I have received no update and I am the one that is chasing and calling to find out where they are! Three times I call the store, the glasses are not there. They say they'll call the lab and get back to me but never do! This post is part of this effort to do so!

I bought a glass with £129 frame and the temples were very loose! One was broken within 6 months. They could not repair them while it seemed easy to fix. No offer was available if I wanted to replace the frame or get a new glass!
