Beautiful place, excellent for customers who are dye to watch a show in the Mayflower Theatre as it is only next door! Staff dress up for The Rocky Horror Pictures Show which created such a fun atmosphere!!

Came here this evening (20/2) before watching a show next door. It was fully booked at 5:30ish and super busy but they still kindly fit us in!We shared pizzas and chips which was tasty (goofy movie cheese pull!) And the staff were so lovely and attentive.Will be back for sure - thank you!

We stopped and had food here on 18/02/24 on our way to the theatre, we were shown to our table and told how to order food , when our food arrived we were quite surprised at how small the portions were for the prices , when a senior member of staff walked past our table and noticed my husband had finished his food he said ?wow someone was hungry , you must have inhaled that food because you?ve eaten it so quick ? , I am a very slow eater compared to my husband , we were really not happy with the way he spoke to us , my husband was mortified and embarrassed by this man , I work in customer service and I would never do that to one of my customers.

Went with friends before a show. Pre-booked a table for lunch. Have to order at the bar. There were massive queues and place was heaving. Music was pumping and with amount of people and music we couldn't hear each other across the table.When food arrived. I and friend had the bun less chicken it was so dry it just shredded when tried to cut it. Another friend had halloumi burger which she thought ok. And our other friend had chicken strips which she liked. People next to us had pizza which looked raw and they left most of them.Returned after show for a quick drink before heading home. Waited ages at the bar while everyone around me was served. When bartender Steve asked who was next and I said that would be me, he then complained to me about having an attitude for speaking up and that he would serve everyone. Quite happy to wait my turn, but when the person beside me has been served, replaced and new person served and another person served. I have fairly waited. As an ex bartender myself there is a tried and tested method for ensuring everyone is served in order. Guess, Steve has yet to figure this out as well as good customer service.Overall place is adequate at best for something to eat and to grab a drink. There's a reason why I was able to book a table 2 weeks before a show when everywhere nearby was sold out. We won't be rushing to go back.

I didn't have food. But very polite staff. Friendly. Warm. Beers were lovely and a nice selection.
