Unfortunately, if someone would like to use the buffet themselves, this is not possible. I was refused entry. At other Tang's this is not a problem. I do not recommend.

The environment is clean and comfortable, with soft music playing and dining relaxed.
Reasonable prices and various styles. The taste is also very good. Will definitely come again.

Food was amazing and the staff were lovely! Food comes in decent portions and can get more if wanted (great quality too) plus great quality food for the vegan/vegetarian costumers. And service was very knowledgeable and welcoming. I can?t express how brilliant this place really was! Really recommend this place! ?

Gluten free option for some dishes, that was a plus.(well done to check with chef) Food was awesome, nothing too complain. Staff and service was allright, happy to help and provide information about main dishes. I did not try sake but next time I will be open to try it. Atmosphere is quiet and calm, not very crowded.

We had a reunion here last night and had a thoroughly enjoyable time, the food was epic, the service was just right, by that I mean no was hovering around like a pack of wolves trying to take your plate away before you had finished, the staff just let us take our time. As for the atmosphere, we became friends when we were 4/5, when we started school, we're in our 60's now, to be honest we could have been on the moon and the atmosphere would have been brilliant. But the staff were kind courteous and jolly which made the evening even more special and enjoyable. Will definitely be recommending to friends, family and returning again.

Tangs was an emphatic experience, mr tang himself was extremely pleasant and so were his staff members. Left with a very full and happy belly. I will be back.

Tangs has supposedly been part of Southampton for twenty years or more by this point. They have a buffet style menu, lazy Susan tables and they were fairly busy on a Saturday evening. The decor is looking a little dated but the food did not disappoint. I had the prawn chow mein and salt and pepper squid which were both delicious and fresh.

We missed ?home cooked food?and was hunting for one close to home and we found Tang?s after few attempts. When they served me and I looked at the texture of the rice and I know this is the right one!1. Their ginger chicken with rice and vegetable soup for lunch are super good and almost 100% close to our home cooked food.Highly recommended!

Came with my sister today for lunch after our afternoon tea was cancelled. We loved it! My sister is a vegetarian and they had a vegetarian menu with lots of options. Once the food arrived everything was hot, fresh and and my sister was so impressed with the vegetarian dishes. The portions were huge, bigger than expected ansdtherefore we over ordered!What makes this place great is the staff. The Manager/owner was so welcoming, helpful, funny and friendly and the waitress was attentive and very helpful. Tang's also is quietier where it's a litttle further up from the shops which was lovely when we wanted a nice lunch and not crowded by others nearby.There was nothing negative about this place for me and my sister is thrilled she found a Chinese that caters so well with veggie options.The toilets are upstairs however. This wasn't an issue for us but might be for others.Best buffet I've had in about 10 years.Vegetarian options: There is a vegetarian menu and the options are great. My sister said it's the best food she's had out for a vegetarian.
