We didn't stay here. We had tea for 2 in the Har Bar 6 at the hotel . Lovely atmosphere, view and staff. Food was good and service excellent. Will be going again.

Nicely designed hotel with great rooms, in a good location, let down by the poorly maintained quayside.6th floor bar was lively and fun at night if you can get in.The breakfast was a dissappointment, we were unecessarily crammed into a baking hot area and the rest of the bar was vacant - why not use more of the space?If you are offered toast then I expect it to come with the food, vs not at all. I ordered the full English but did not get a sausage. I was offered brown sauce, but again it did not materialise.Topped off with fairly average coffee.

Nice hotel, however was surprised that we had to pay separately for latte in 5 star hotel ? Never seen this before!Also someone from staff came to my room while I was in shower 1 hour before our check out time (why??? We are checking out soon) It felt really uncomfortable ?Last, when I asked to stay 1 hour longer, I was told to pay £25 ? never ever this happened to me in 5 star hotel before, they usually let you stay 1 hour more if no overbookings or dont if they too busy.So all those little things made unpleasant impression of the hotel and I will not come back.

5 star hotel with views over the harbour.Nice size room with walk in shower.Only downside was room near lift and door wasnt soft close so was a little noisey.Nice touches in room with Binoculars and gin.Tea coffee and biscuits slippers and robes with Bramley products made the stay nice.Breakfast was on 6th floor with great views and nice quality of choice of cooked breakfast.

Amazing stay here, beautiful from the moment we stepped in ??? we had a lovely room with a balcony overlooking the harbour, absolutely stunning, will definitely be back.Rooms: Beautiful room, clean, amazing views and comfortable.Food & drinks: Food was exceptional and great table service.

We live in London but if we ever want a spa weekend we always pop down to the Harbour Hotel Southampton. I?m 24 weeks pregnant and just had the most wonderful antenatal massage with Rihanna! She got some knots out of my upper back and I feel like an absolute goddess. Pregnancy by no means is ?pretty? but I definitely feel a glow after this weekend. Thanks Rihanna and hope to see you again

The Harbour Hotel in Southampton as always is a fantastic hotel The staff are very friendly and helpful especially the young girl Mel who checked us in she was very helpful friendly and always smiling the whole checking in process was made so easy if you come to Southampton and don't stay here well that's your loss.

Clean rooms but no character. Food wasn't great. £30 for 2 drinks was ridiculous. Service charge 12.5% is added to absolutely everything and the service is certainly not 5*.Very loud music playing all night that you could hear in your room. Not quite the relaxing break we had paid for.Shame because the location is wonderful.Rooms: Standard basic rooms, nothing special.Rooms are quite small.Food & drinks: Expensive for what it is. Mine was undercooked and when I spoke to staff they weren't interested. 12.5% on everything including drinks. If they were spectacular and the service was spot on, you would expect it but not in this bar well below standard service.Noteworthy details: The restaurant gets extremely loud with music playing all night so much so you can hear it in your rooms.
