Went for dinner with the girlfriend. Staff were friendly attentive and efficient, food was serve quickly and to a high standard, complements to the chef. ? Sharing platter was amazing wide vairity of food and plenty for 2. Will definitely visit again. Extra credit to the bar man who was new but still friendly and efficient with the job at hand keep it up mate.

I went here with my parents just before Christmas and have to say I was disappointed. The food was overcooked and fatty, the staff were miserable with an attitude. One guy serving food in particular was very rude. Will certainly think again before going here. The place needs a clean up and revamp. Maybe employ some happy staff with a sense of humour. I understand people being off with covid doesn't help, but does that mean you have to be rude? This review is my opinion and I am allowed that. Maybe if you don't like negative reviews you should try harder to make the experience a friendly one. If someone is rude, am I supposed to bring that to their attention? Then i would end up with a situation.

Good cheap food, korean chicken burgers on a Friday BOGOF on all burgers.
Kid-friendliness: Nice friendly staff.
I dropped a tenner at the bar while ordering ov didn't realiseze 4 minutes later the bar girl came over and returned it.

We went here for Christmas dinner. Staff were friendly and accommodating. But unfortunately the food was really not good, Christmas dinner tasted like a microwave meal and was nearly cold. Didn't even stay for desert. However this is no judgement on staff as we appreciated their effort especially on Christmas day... but it'll be our first and last visit to the shamblehurst barn for Christmas.
As previously stated I couldn't fault the service Amy was lovely and I fully appreciate staff giving up time with their families to work Christmas day. The atmosphere was also very warm, just sadly for the cost food wasn't up to standard. Merry Christmas

Came here for a drink on the way to the train station, staff were so welcoming and the drinks prices are hard to beat! Perfect local pub.

After booking my nans 80th birthday for 15 people on arrival we received a very warm welcome kieron (the landlord) personally introduced himself and welcomed us in the food was was cooked to perfection and everyone was happy
Thank you for making a beautiful family memory we are all very great full and will definitely be coming back thanks again thanks love the cannon family
