I am really fed up with Santander after banking with them for quite some time. I find them very hard now to get in touch with without a lot of time wasted after hearing all the phone numbers which have now been changed etc and then waiting for someone to answer especially when reporting perhaps a possible scam. In the past using a different bank I could actually talk to someone working in that local bank also I am fed up with banks wanting customers only to use online banking and at 89 yrs of age I refuse to do that. Life is difficult these days as it is.

Not happy with the opening times. If there going to be silly and close at 1500hrs. Or make times shorter. Why no open later and stay open to 1900hrs so people can use there service after work. It's ridiculous. And then close early on a wkend. So frustrating.

I had a truly lovely experience at the Santander branch in Southampton, and I want to give a special mention to a staff member, AJ, who went above and beyond to assist me. As a new customer, I had a few issues related to my card, and AJ not only solved these issues promptly but also made the whole process incredibly smooth and stress-free. He was exceptionally friendly and polite, and his customer service skills were top-notch. He took the time to explain everything clearly, ensuring I understood each step of the process. His eagerness to help and his dedication to providing excellent service made me feel valued as a customer. It?s rare to come across someone with such a genuine and positive attitude, and it really stood out to me.
Thanks to AJ, my experience with Santander has so far been incredibly positive, and I truly feel confident in my decision to bank here. I genuinely appreciate his assistance and professionalism. He is a great asset to the team, and I?m grateful for his help.

Will never use this bank again! Absolutely appalling customer service. Steve was rude, not friendly & treated us like he didn?t want to deal with us. He forgot to give us our passport & drivers licence back & was adamant he already gave it back to us, after us saying he didn?t he went out the back room & found them left in the photo copying machine, didn?t say sorry. Such bad service. Too many people working in there doing nothing & leaving customers queued up!!

The bank is only open 10 until 3 useless for business as my busy time.
The single cash machine outside only works a genuine 50% of the time for the last 5 years, while the others are locked up inside, wind up.
I don't think Santander is run seriously now, probably being wound down, avoid.

Lock my card for trivial things and I?ve been waiting for 20 days. My school still waiting for me to pay tuitions.Trust me this bank will ranger you enormous amount of trouble.

I've been here for 45 minutes waiting to see someone, because their fraud prevention team messed up my new online account and blocked it by accident. I'm bored, the staff are vapid and disinterested. To think I almost tried banking with these clowns.

I went to the bank to deposit money into my account via the ATM machine. There was an error and the machine gave me back my card but not my money. I had a quick check on my online banking and confirmed that no money had been deposited to the account. I spoke to a lady at the branch who reassured me that any surplus money would be deposited to my account by 1pm the next day. It has been a whole day and I have heard nothing back and no call to inform me what is going on. There?s been a total lack of communication and I am upset that this has not been prioritised.
