Ridiculous attitude
I had a very disappointing experience at the Sainsbury's store on Hill Lane tonight. I was poorly attended by a teenager who was rude and disrespectful. I can?t see his name. But he was working with a nice guy with long blond hair When I asked him if he could cut the price of a bag of flowers, he rolled his eyes and said it wasn't his job. I was on my way to a party, and it wasn?t just a sticker that could be cut; I needed help.
I understand that he might think it wasn?t part of his responsibilities, but the way he treated me?rolling his eyes?was unacceptable. His job is to provide good customer service, and he completely failed in that regard. I felt utterly disrespected in front of other customers.
This kind of poor service is unacceptable, and I wouldn?t recommend shopping at this location. To the managers: please think carefully before hiring individuals who do not know how to treat customers properly.

Nice location, good food options, not too big but not too small of a shop.
Staff seemed friendly.
Parking does seem a bit manic during peak times as only a few spaces.

It?s not s huge store, but you can have what you want locally.
The store seems to have enough parking spots as it?s not so busy.
Parking has a weak point! When coming out, if you are going to Winchester Road North or Hill Lane South you have to go inside the roundabout harshly!
Staff are helpful, polite, and caring.

Convenient but unprofessional staff and dull range! This is in a great position and as such attracts a huge amount of passing trade from people on their way to and from work.Sadly the staff here spend their time loudly chatting about their nights out rather than having any respect for their customers. This has only got worse since the introduction of head sets. Product wise the store is okay as a one off, but if you shop here regularly you will find the stock has been the same for years and so is a very dull shop.

Asked for change for single pounds for 10. They asked for both my 10s because I had had to buy something. Cashier gives my £10 back whole instead and says sorry. You will have to buy something else to get change. Funny thing this cashier asked for manager help and didn?t even listen.She even called the manager again and the manager wouldn?t even help. Asked to purchase and item again. Hire staff that can listen.
