It's a Premier Inn - clean rooms and standard arrangement. Located in the WestQuay sprawl but with good access to the City Centre.Walkability: Easy walking into Southampton City Centre.

Great location, new rooms on 5th floor but they didn?t have wifi and there was little or no mobile phone coverage. So a business hotel from which it was all but impossible to connect to the outside world. Staff were apologetic but ultimately just shrugged about wifi

One of the friendliest and cleanest hotels that I've ever stayed at.Reception and restaurant staff were very friendly, making sure I knew about the options and food requirements. The room has plenty of space, including a workspace and couch which was perfect. The bathroom was exceptionally clean, which some hotels tend to miss. The bed was comfy with thick fluffy pillows. It takes about 2minutes to walk to West Quay centre, 8minutes walk to Red Funnel Ferries and Southampton Central Station

Feb 2024. Stayed one night very close to the cruise terminal, shops, historic areas and was reasonably priced. Room fairly spacious and with everything you?d need for an overnighter. Check in staff friendly. Only one tiny negative comment was that there was no shower gel in the dispensers in the shower but would definitely stay here again.

We stayed 25th January 2024 (1 night)No sleep = they don?t care.West Quay are cleaning the external areas of their car park. Apparently Premier Inn are clueless about it and shrug at you when you ask when it will stop. It kicks in at 9pm. When at midnight it?s still going and you ask they respond well it?s not us. No offer to swap room. At 3am it?s still going. So instead of sleeping ahead of our holiday I?m sobbing in bed. Speak to someone else as we check out who is clueless to the issues we?ve had. Do you not do a handover?? No offer of assistance or sorry have a breakfast on us to compensate. Nope just another shrug and here?s a card email them within 7 days of your stay. Well that meant breakfast rushing the complaint in as I had no WiFi for the next 8 days. More stress on no sleep. Then they take 30 days to respond. It?s nice they gear it to themselves isn?t it. 7days for you 30 for them. Shouldn?t have expected them to honour any sleep guarantee though should we. Their terms and conditions yet again gears purely to themselves and lip service to the customer.Won?t be stopping in a premier inn again. It?s not worth the punt. The room was tired, the air con didn?t work well and they?ve got builders in so their work kicks in at 8am. The skip was collected at 7am just to add insult to our stay. Right under the window.Their email for clarity:Thank you for getting in contact with our Guest Relations team, please accept my apologies for the delay in our response, I hope you are well.I am sorry to hear that you did not get a good night's sleep when staying at our hotel due to external noise causing disturbance, I appreciate this is not what you would expect from one of our Premier Inns and I would like to apologise personally.External noise is something we monitor, and I do apologise that you were disturbed, the noise outside of the hotel is not something we can control, and external factors are normally relative to the location of the hotel that is booked, on this occasion we would not offer a refund for your stay due to the reasons for the disturbance as were factors out of our control.Once again, I extend my apologies for any inconvenience or disruption this may have caused, I have passed your feedback over to the relevant teams to be reviewed as we are always looking for ways to improve.Thank you again for taking the time to share your experience with Premier Inn, I do hope we can welcome you back in the future. Not a chance? Yes I?ve complained to West Quay as well but their response was ?Well you?re the first to let us know? So Premier Inn haven?t spoken to them either.

I'm a fan of Premier Inns cheap and cheerful. I actually liked thatvyhe restaurant was on the 4th floor, don't ask me why? and we didn't eat at the restaurant it was over Christmas.

Clean and comfortable. Check in was easy. Staff were not around much but the one we met at the buffet breakfast the next morning was friendly, efficient and took our food allergies seriously. I would definitely return there.
