We went to this restaurant for the first time on Sunday before a show at the Mayflower. When we arrived the man who greeted us was miserable.
My pasta dish was cold and flavourless it arrived very quickly so obviously was cooked correctly. The staff at on point came over to us while we were eating our food to see if everything was okay and it was hard to track there attention.
We stay ages waiting for both our desserts which we had to order in the beginning and our bill. We had to ask for both several times. The woman who was also there was miserable too.

We came to this restaurant for a birthday celebration which was recommended by a friend. We had a starter to share Camembert and half of the bread burnt. When the mains came I had the mushroom linguine with crispy Parma ham. The pasta was cold and flavourless and the parma ham gave the dish a burnt taste it was not enjoyable. My partner had a pizza and said that it wasn?t the best either.
On a positive the restaurant was lovely inside and the staff were friendly. Shame about the food letting the restaurant down.

Unfortunately - I found that the meal was very expensive for some cheap store bought dry spaghetti. A fresh tagliatelle would have been so much better than popping some spaghetti into boil with a bit of sauce. A bit of red wine would have given the ragu a deeper bodied flavour, instead was very flat. The sweet potato fries however, well... They were beautiful.
Customer service was second to none! Really lovely warm welcoming

An average Italian restaurant. The food was OK and the service was nice. It's a good option if you're in the neighborhood.

Not the place to go for 'authentic' Italian food. I think it has changed hands as the last time we went it was good. Ok for a splash and dash before theatre, if you don't care about cheap brought in bread, bland pasta dishes plus rude and woefully lacking service. Never mind.

First time at this restaurant in Southampton. We had been to the theatre and this is ideally placed for a pre or post theatre experience. Simple menu, simple food. Nothing outstanding but perfectly acceptable. Service ok. Wine good but after one bottle had run out of our choice which is poor.All in all great place for a quick meal. Food came hot and fast which is what you want if on a theatre date ?
