Men's shirts in Small, Medium, or Large. No tailored option. Everyone knows that men's shirts go by collar size in inches, then fit of the body in regular, tailored and slim/skinny. 6'3 slim son asked for 17" tailored shirts. Not in Matalan any more. Shame.

Today I went into Matalan in Southampton. They priced an item for £20 and when I went to pay they charged me £36.Now as far as im aware the store had to charge what the price is on the item and advertised, the staff went to check, the staff said the customer was right and it was the staffs fault who had wrongly priced the item!!! However they refused to give the item at the selling price of £20 . Disgusting service and the staff were rude and unhelpful and choose do nothing! And made out the customer was wrong!!!

Today I went to Matalan in Southampton with my kids at 4:30 today.My little girl 4 years old took a toy play with it. The manger forced us to pay for the toy when I said we weren?t going to buy it.The doll was in good condition Yet they accused us for not looking after her and it was apparently the toy was in her mouth.Compared her to a dog chewing a doll although she was just holding it. Please take some consideration into this message.

Great Matalan, plenty of stock. Whoever decided to put a wall toy in the accessible/family changing room was a genius!! It made shopping with my toddler that much easier. They should have this in every shop!

Nice selection of clothes/home decor with fair and cheap prices. At the tills, cashier Sophie was very polite and engaged in conversation with us. I would recommend this store for clothes shopping or home decor
