The very best steak in Southampton. The atmosphere & ambience is hushed making the restaurant almost like a cathedral to steak. Staff are extremely attentive & knowledgeable about the food. Waiting times for food are very short & all food is cooked to order. I have taken my wife here for special meals on a number of occasions.

I don?t think Marco has ever been here, very average over cooked steak, very tough over cooked lamb, and expensive, how the mighty have fallen, such a great chef putting his name to this rubbish
Come on Marco in my opinion one of the greatest chefs of all time you are better than this.

Not bad, but not good either. The atmosphere is non existent. Kids screaming and running around in the hotel entrance area. No steak knife given for a steak meal, no background music.
What this place needs it?s some doors between the restaurant and hotel, and some live music, piano or even just some louder speakers.
The steak was ok. But if I?m really honest mostly tasteless.
I hate to leave a mediocre review but this just isn?t worth the £50p/head spread.

Absolutely incredible!!
We looked the the reviews at first and was so worried! But we went for it anyway, no regrets! One of the best steaks we have ever had by a mile away? absolutely delicious, so soft, melted like butter! Would travel again just for the food alone.
We had a waiter called harmony, she was kind, helpful, very knowledgeable about the food and polite also.

Came down to the leonardo hotel for a mini moon & had a treat in Marco Pierre Whites steakhouse, food was amazing , My husband & I could not fault a single thing ?

Utterly awful food. Ordered Venison to come pink, had to send back it was so not pink, you could have re-soled your shoes. Came with some odd looking dumplings that weren?t specified on the menu, which had the consistency of chewing gum, totally raw and you could taste the flour. On quizzing the waitress she went off to find out what the odd looking foodstuff was. Her answer from the chief was beef fat!! Yuck. Would I return absolutely not. I wonder what Marco would think.

**Disgusting customer service by Dragos.** Dragos the Leo?s Bar supervisor is aggressive and feels it is okay to use intimidation to a lone woman. He favours some guests and treated me like a second class citizen from the moment I stepped into the bar for no apparent reason. I watched as other customers were given customer service and I was completely ignored. I was then insulted when I left and was asked if I had paid my bill! I told Dragos that I was unhappy with the service I experienced. He was not understanding. He got very aggressive and intimidatingly got in my face and continued to follow me into the lobby with aggression using his body to intimidate me. I am disgusted and highly shocked. People avoid Leo?s bar.

We were looking forward to eating at Marco Pierre White but I really wish we had read the reviews before. We had the meatballs on sourdough toast as a starter which was average at best followed by the steak frites that we could barely cut. We sent back one of the meals but it returned in a similarity bad state with some fresh chips. Complained again and received a 10% discount. We went straight to the hotel reception and cancelled the breakfasts we had booked for the following two mornings as it is apparently cooked in the same kitchen!! Walked out feeling like we had been robbed of £76.00. Very, very poor.
(There are a number of eateries within a short walking distance of the hotel, do not waste your time and money in this place.)
