The new refitted layout is a little confusing for the first time when you remember how it used to be.
I can?t say it?s an improvement. It?s like a garden maze trying to weave in and out of the isles.
More self serve tills means more queues and it doesn?t seem a pleasant experience.
Still, everyone?s got their own opinion and this is mine.
I only came in for a can of drink and it felt like it was an airport check in. Uhh! ?

Large range of food at a fairly cheap price however store is so randomly set out that its difficult to find what you want. What idiot decided to put kids sweets opposite from the alcohol really? Yeah that's really responsible. And still very loud self scan staff that talk down to customer's as if they are stupid. No real service skills either retrain or sack them all. Because of them you lost a customer in me at this store.

I don't like shopping in this particular Lidl because the staff rarely serves customers at the checkout, usually you have to do it yourself at the self-service checkout, which often hangs, which is annoying.

Was very busy, managed to grab all the bits I needed, the salad looked nice & fresh.
The queue was really long today, but moved quickly so we weren't waiting that long, because they had two employees helping to keep it moving, & they were very efficient & friendly.

A reasonably priced big shop with helpful staff but the self service checkouts made it a really quite stressful experience - nearly left the shopping on the floor and ran out.. Bells ringing, assistance needed, crowded area. And Christmas music on a loop. Thank God for David ( green haired assistant) who was pleasant, helpful and fun despite being pulled in several directions at once. Please bring back people!
