Ordered from here for delivery a few times over the last few weeks and haven?t had any major issues until today. Firstly our drinks were kept in the same bag as the food causing the bag to split and our food getting wet due to condensation, My partner ordered a Tuna Mayo baguette but instead she might as well have received a Mayo baguette with the lack of tuna present. This was an absolute joke and rather upsetting just wish they would start to advertise better on the delivery service like having photos like other places do!

Avoid at all cost my friend brought a currant bun £3 yes £3 stale dry I complained to staff they said he shouldn't have bite into it refused his money back Monday 24th Feb 2025 .1145am staff arrogant and was rude.much better food and service when it was tucks. I don't think this cafe will last much longer hopefully

The plates were covered in very large chips that went down to the porcelain. Food was nice though and good portion size, but the mug of tea I had was dirty (had dried food of some kind on it) and the rim of the mug was covered in deep chips that were dirty as obviously bare porcelain doesn?t clean up well so hard to tell if those were stains or not clean. I just asked for the money back for the tea as I was a bit put off ordering another one. The lady only gave me back half the price of the tea even though I didn?t drink any of it. I didn?t ask for the rest it wasn?t a lot but more the principle and wouldn?t return based on my experience.

Ordered from here for delivery. Firstly they put my partner's black pudding in with my feel good breakfast and I can't stand the smell or taste of that so I couldn't eat the food it had touched. Toast wasn't freshly made as the minimal amount of spread hadn't melted. It also was only applied to the centre of the toast. Poached eggs were rock hard, bacon was hard but pale. Tomato almost but not quite raw. Suspect that this food was cooked in a microwave. The whole thing was swimming in revolting tasting cheap oil, hardly 'feel good'. The bacon on this breakfast was the same as that in the all day breakfast, so not lean as advertised. Chips on the all day breakfast could have done with a few more minutes in the fryer. Shame really.

£8.50 for a full English advertised @£6.95 online bacon roll £3.85 for two rashers of bacon !! St least dick Turpin wore a mask !!! Back to Precinct snacks across the road end of Sainsbury's 90 mins free parking too

Great little cafe, with 3 hours free parking in Sainsburys large car-park nearby.
Freshly cooked food, simple and straightforward menu.
Great prices, beats all the competitors on price locally.
A couple of outdoor seats for summer days.
Clean and tidy.
Parking: Use Sainsburys car-park 3 hours free.
Wheelchair accessibility: Slight incline but not as steep as a ramp.

So, when we first arrived it was really cold, and that wasn't the food the overall café had a cold feeling towards it. After we found a seat and we thought it'd be good due to how busy it was, but the prince ruined it and that was our first thing to suspect, it was Ruffley £20.30 for 2 baguettes what we thought was absolutely barbaric. Next we got our food, and the sausages tasted raw and only a tiny bit cooked, the only good meal was the hashbrowns and even they tasted a bit raw.
I'd only recommend if your in a rush and would eat any food even if its cold.
Wheelchair accessibility: For the wheel chairs they have a ramp what allows
them to enter and leave the cafe.

Lovely café, very friendly staff, decent prices, nice simple food, right on Shirley High Street opposite the precinct. What else could you want from a café?Simple but elegant decor, full windowed front meaning well lit by daylight.The only downside was a lack of gluten free items on the menu, but options for vegetarians and staff are happy to substitute items within reason.A bit cramped for disabled persons but you should be able to manage to squeeze between tables in a wheelchair...just.Normally busy as quite popular, but normally able to find a spare table, so quite a lively feel to the place.Would recommend

Ordered a roast to be delivered from here yesterday, and I can honestly say it?s one of the best I?ve ever had! The meat was tender, veg was cooked perfectly along with the roast potatoes and yorkies! Stuffing and gravy was just the way it should be! Thanks again, will definitely be ordering again!
