Use the fishing store section which i like but the lay out could be better and there were lots of empty spaces, it would be good to have seen the shelves being restocked. As ever the staff were polite and helpful.

PARKING TICKET!! DON'T BOTHER VISITING!! Parked up out front for a good shopping session as lots on our list and we are not local. But received a £170 parking fine from a random company for being 19 minutes over an arbitrary 2 hour parking limit!! WE WILL NEVER VISIT AGAIN!!

There was plenty of parking today (Friday) and the staff were really friendly and helpful on the shop floor, if I got his name I would recommend him. The tills were a little slow but it's to be expected and our checkout operator was really nice and apologetic about the wait. This store has outdoor clothing, loads of tents to look at, fishing supplies and a whole bunch of other stuff. We picked up camping storage and snacks. The carpark is free and can be used for 2hours while in store which gives plenty of time to look at everything.

Told items I ordered were ready to collect, wasted trip items were on order, no email as promised to tell me they were ready, another trip for a refund and still waiting, impossible to get a reply from customer service and negative feedback on trustpilot about incompetence from customer service they say sorry please contact customer service. Will shop elsewhere now

Last Sunday I went shopping with my family before my holiday to Gooutdoor in Southampton. The shop is very well equipped. Unfortunately, everything is ruined by the shop staff. I don't know if these people don't undergo proper training? The cashier who served us was outraged that we brought so many things to checkout. She threw everything on the floor. I am disappointed with the staff. People who spend a lot of money there are treated there like unnecessary items. Shame on the shop and the owner

I have just bought a pair of Meindel Bhutan MFS walking boots to last me for a while. I was assisted by Elliot and he was very knowledgeable and gave me some good advice. Meindel is a tried and tested brand of over 300 years so they should be good!
I also have seen some changes around the store that indicate a major improvement with new layouts and logos.
The closing down signs should say for refurbishment so as not to confuse people.
As the name suggests it has a lot to do with the ?Outdoors? A large stock of mostly clothing for all seasons.
Top brands and budget value too. Footwear, camping, cycling and more.
This store is slightly out of town but easy to find and get to with a large car park.
It has been improving with stock tidiness and price labels although some sizes are lacking such as medium or large. XXXL!?
Sometimes it?s got too much of one thing such as down jackets (when did we last have a frost?) and not enough brands for the climate change situation such as rainwear.
Over all it aims towards the value side of products but there are some premium options too.

Went it to get some inner tubes for a bike, staff were very helpful. One member of staff even showed me some grease he uses for his gears and chains that he got from a different store. Didn't have a membership but the woman at the till used her discount card, i had a saving of £15 on my receipt from that.
Store says closing down but its only for a few days while they have a refit as JD Sport are entering into a partnership with them.
Will certainly be returning to get more bike parts at a later date.
