I have been a builder/developer for all of my working life, mainly based in Southampton and during that time I have consistently used Elliott Brothers builders merchants. I noticed when trying other builders merchants, The `trade discount` you received quickly fell away, which only became apparent when checking invoices.With Elliotts, the discount was always fair and consistent. I like the fact more counter staff are female and are always treated with respect, dismissing the myth of the misogynist builder. The staff are there for a career in the building industry. I find them good humoured, courteous and helpful. I am now working in London where the prices take a bit of getting used to. My customers property included replacing the windows, but the prices for supply and fix were breathtakingly high. I spoke to Stuart Battle and met him in person and his manager, Andy to discuss my very specific order. The service was absolutely first class from the outset. Stuart always kept in touch to update me regarding progress and was always available to discuss my order. Along with Carl, his brother, the service I received could not be faulted. The sliding sash windows are now installed and the customer is very happy. And the price? Just about half the London contractors price. What more do you need?

Still haven't received my delivery yet! Why would you charge higher price for delivery service that is not worth the the delivery service you provide! Very disappointed! If I ordered it from abroad the country I would've understand but you fool people with choosing the delivery date they prefer?

Wow, What a great service. A quallity company selling quallity products by quallity staff. I have purchased some doors from the Joinery department. The ordering was so easy. The doors arrived as they should. There was a little manufacturing issue with one of them and Ed took the problem and bewteen Elliots and the manufacutrer sorted my door with a replacement. What more could you ask for. Keep up the good work and you deserve every sale you make. Thank you.

Great product let down by inflexibility of delivery arrangements. And lack of understanding of clients and construction needs. Despite locality and having their own trucks .Competitors offer next day delivery , delivering from the other side of the country.
