I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with my recent experience at the EE shop in Southampton. I went there to sort out a mobile phone contract, and my overall experience took more than three hours.
Before finalizing the contract, I specifically asked for confirmation that I would have a good phone signal at my home. However, upon returning home, I found that none of the devices provided had a signal. I reached out to customer services for assistance, but they were unhelpful. The technical support team seemed to be only interested in sending me another SIM card rather than resolving the issue.
This situation has not only caused me inconvenience but has also led to complications with my credit record, making it difficult for me to obtain a replacement phone from other networks. It feels as though once the sale was complete, there was no concern for after-care or support.
I strongly recommend that others stay away from the EE shop in Southampton, as my experience has left me without a phone or reliable contract.
Have taken the devices back to the EE shop and have to wait for a manager to sort out was not available last night had gone home
Thank you for taking the time to read my concerns. I hope to see some improvement in customer care in the future.

BT in EE clothing.
EE like most phone companies write so many clauses into their T&C's the contract is virtually worthless.
Took Scam Guard out just 3 months ago with our new contracts but now told it is increasing 50%.
Of course EE quote said T&C's, the 'resolution' is not having it. Suck it up or cancel it, they factor cancellations into these increases hence 50% so still profit.
Exactly what BT used to do & exactly why they lost customers year on year until EE took over but in truth this is BT's playbook.

How?s about a review from a TRUSTED level 8 content provider. Instead of the usual BOTS!
I had been with EE for a long time and changed my provider after my contract expired with EE.
Big mistake. I had hardly any 5G and slow connections and have now gone back to EE.
This time I was served by Ben at the West Quay store. Very helpful in reinstating a new contract together with Broadband.
Despite negative and sometimes FAKE reviews from other customers here on Google Maps, there is usually a wait at busy times particularly at weekends.
There is not a ticket service!? This is not a doctor?s surgery!
There were four staff on a Saturday and as I was waiting for Ben to sort out my contract everyone else had waited in line with no problems. The staff were able to tell who was next.
I give five stars for the way the whole store was run by ALL the staff and no other customers had any complaints.
Serving does take time to process contracts and some waiting time will be required.

Went to a simple SIM replacement and they asked for my ID
When I provided my ID the person said sorry we need a british ID or a british driving license wich I replied Im not british all my documents will be from my country.
They said they need a british document to take a photo and send to another team.
I've replied even if I had it I will not allow to take photos of my documents and send it to an unknown place.
I can show you to prove who I am exacly like i do with the police. That seem very strange and racist request

I wish I read the reviews before getting a device from them, a total waste of money. They gave me a brand new faulty device and upon complaining, the lady first try to send me away but then I told her that I will bring her the diagnostic report from apple which I did then she got really hyper when she turned out to be on fault and put everything on calling the call center. EE has under trained and uneducated employees zero communication skills and zero technical knowledge. Not all obviously but mostly. They said we can only offer repair as remedy which I don't want because even a donkey knows that it brings down the market value of device but they won't get this point. I am so disappointed that I don't even want to carry the contract anymore with them. And funny that they wouldn't even cancel the contract and refund because I bought in store so in store they don't have any cool off period although I am in a cooling off period but they wouldn't let me cancel it. The only option they leave you is to escalate the issue to the ombudsman or CISAS. Not recommended. And they are expensive as well compared to other companies. Buy directly from apple but not from these people who have no expertise in the tech industry. Terrible experience.

Fantastic service from (I think an American lady EE staff member) at this Southampton store on the 16th Nov 2024. Very helpful, patient and got my difficult EE sim problem solved.

I've been with EE since they were Orange. Rarely let you down. Terry was very helpful and friendly.
Subsequent to visit service was disrupted and Terry mis-sold my upgrade. Thankfully, all resolved by the amazing customer service team over the phone.

Very disappointed with the customer service. They do not have any system to know who is waiting in the queue. I was waiting for more than half an hour, and they were serving people who came last. In the end, after waiting, they said to call customer service as they could not do anything. Avoid this store. And EE, if you are reading my message, please install a system so you know who is in the queue and give some training to your staff to work more professionally; otherwise, you will lose new customers.

Pathetic!!!!!
I strongly request to stay away with this store. Trust me this would be worst service you would be receiving ever in your entire life. They just try to loot you and if you have any problem with your service, they don't care. They just play the bloody blame game. I have been chasing the store and the customer support through phone from last 18 days and I am still seeking for a solution. Avoid it at any cost.

EE is so rubbish that I can tell, I brought EE SIM card few days ago.When I receive it, I cannot active my card and I spend more than 3 hours to figure out what?s wrong with this card.The second day I just pop in EE store in WestQuay. And the staff told me that the sim number is not mine, the last customer that use this number are still using it?,
I asked what can I do now, I need the SIM card immediately, They told me call the EE service number and Handle it by myself, he cannot do anything with it. EE gave my a wrong SIM card and the wrong number and told me to handle myself?? That is so disappointing. I thought EE have good service.
