Rubbish food. Basically frozen food was placed in a nice serving dish . Lasagne was hard and v dry . When I spoke to the manager over the phone the next day as I was embarrassed at the time to let her know by serving food rubbish in front of other customers. Her body language was like she never seen brown faces in the restaurant. My husband order came with a pork / ham in spite of us specify that we don?t eat pork/ ham. All they did removed the pork and served the same again instead of cooking the fresh batch. At the beginning of our order we did say it?s our anniversary and would like to have a decent meal. The waiter Matt was helpful but they all need to understand how crucial it is not to serve ham/ pork base food to certain cultures and religions ! It was very unpleasant experience.

Last minute decision whilst in town , and wished we hadn't now. Service always good and no change there , but presentation and food content well below usual standard. Appreciate costs have risen , but what we received was certainly not worth the money paid , and will probably not go again Also £3.75 a for a small hot drink excessive to say the least. Shame , as over the years its been very good

I have often walked past Caluccio's and thought that it looked quite comfortable and cosy. I decided to give it a try after a stressful morning. We were shown to a table and immediately realised that it was very noisy, and the tables were close together, it had the feel of a canteen. Our order was taken quite promptly, including wine, which took ages to arrive. After our main course was finished we sat for a long time with our empty plates in front of us. We had been planning on having more but decided that as everything else had been so slow we would pay at the till and leave.

My family were coming to stay and my plan was to come here for lunch as the food and service is always good quality. So six of us for lunch, I did book just to be safe. We all ordered something different from tagliatelle to pizza, with some starters to share. Attentive waitress and good food. It was busy, with a happy buzz and we felt like there was no hurry to get us out. Perfect lunch with family.

Another tasty meal here. The food was delicious we had the seafood risotto and the pasta sausage the risotto had plenty of seafood. Great value for money and our waitress Lucy was helpful & attentive thank you Angela & Bill

This is a great restaurant - excellent food and very friendly, helpful staff. I had the chicken saltimbocca and it was absolutely delicious. Price is about average for a restaurant of this quality and I just love going there. I also like the fact that they do not have a huge menu with too many choices - means the quality is much better.

My overall experience here was excellent! I came with my husband for dessert, and we couldn?t have chosen a better place. The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. The food was sumptuous and the pairings were perfect. Presentation was beautiful too. This cute Italian restaurant is the perfect place to spend some quality time with family or friends! ??

Hi I love to write about an experience in Carluccio Southampton. It was a fantastic experience and tasting of excellent quality food and as we are an Italian family we can absolutely guarantee this, my three children ate everything and with excellent appetites. The staff were friendly, pleasant and very professional. Well done guys Bravi ragazzi Grazie .

Very poor service. After being seated we waited 15 minutes without being being seen to by the service team. Another family of 8 turned up and were served almost immediately. When we made staff aware there was no real apology and we left. It?s a shame as the food is good and we had eaten there a couple of days before.

It was the first time we ate at this restaurant but sadly was disappointed with the food. The service staff were friendly and efficient, although we waited a long time to receive our food (this had nothing to do with the waiting staff). The breads served as a starter were hard and felt stale. Very dry, even with the oil and vinegar. The main course (ricotta and spinach ravioli) was dry and quite bland unfortunately. I also tried the rosemary and parmigianno fries but couldn?t eat them as they were so hard (too overcooked for me). Just disappointing as I really looked forward to what I had ordered. The waiter was helpful though. The fresh lemonade was very nice, just hoped the food would be better.

Well they?ve received lots of good reviews? unfortunately we?re bucking the trend.. Walked in, no one came to see us at the entrance? walked out? went around the windows to look for an empty table? there were plenty? walked back to the entrance? no one came to see us? So we went in and sat down. After a few minutes told we couldn?t sit there because the table was reserved. Nothing on the table to show this. Then we were informed we should have waited at the entrance. There was no wait here to be seated sign, and no one came to see us twice! So we told the server what we thought and walked out? They weren?t over busy either? Their loss!
