Staff member names Phoebe asked my 6 year old if she would like voice recording in her bear. I said no due to price and fact my daughter was using her own Christmas money to purchase. When it came to stuffing bear she put a beating heart in my daughters hands and asked if she would like it, my daughter said yes and then staff member asked me if this was ok???? This is emotional manipulation. Then at the till they are making you purchase either box or backpack and then trying to also sell a gift card!! Why are children?s shops trying to upsell this much???

it was a magical experience last Saturday thanks to the wonderful staff in particular red hair with glasses man (Kieran? Sorry not sure about his name) who was so attentive to my daughter and truly brought her bear to life. This is what childhood memories are made of. He deserves great recognition.

I thought targeting children on a sales pitch had been outlawed in recent years. However this place takes it to a whole new level. Telling my child "How nice would it be to have a beating heart in your bear and for it to smell like strawberries and have a nice sound?" getting the child all excited and then tell me that each part costs extra "it's £6 for a noise. That's ok isn't it""well it's going to have to be now you've earned your wage selling it to my 4 year old". Extremely underhanded and poor way of achieving extra sales. Everything upto leaving the door is an added extra cost. Quite possibly the worst type of selling technique actively targeting children.People should be allowed to treat their children without the fear of having to pay for dozens of added extras. A £17 bear quickly went up to £30 and I felt I had very little say in it unless I wanted my child to leave upset.

Told my two youngest daughters into Southampton Branch and I was delighted with the young lady who served us Eva I believe her name was she went above and beyond to make my girls have a extra special visit so thank you. All staff were super friendly and polite great experience

Wonderful experience yesterday for our 5 year old great niece down from Scotland. All the staff were welcoming, Danny was brilliant taking her through the process of stuffing her bear, choosing what to go inside it, he created a magical experience
