submitted a request for a prescription on Tuesday last week 26/08/25 ,Thursday i had a message saying prescription request received and informing me to wait for further message to collect prescription . 6 days later still no prescription ready message and have on previous requests been told to wait to be informed when ready.
so 6 days now and no insulin for my diabetes treatment
i had been informed that insulin was quite important for diabetics but i guess that was not true or this pharmacy dose not consider it important , perhaps they know better than doctors or don't really care.
unfortunately there dose not seem to be a complaints procedure so i guess i just have to put up with more poor service as the rest of the UK has adopted , maybe it might be more reliable if i order off EBAY or other online supplier.
just a note this isn't the first tine from this pharmacist but it is local.
so hey just take it on the chin.

Been using them for years. 99% of the time everything spot on. I have had a few niggles but that is down to supplies and Doctor / Prescription traffic and you can't blame the Chemists for that. All in all good service.

Questioned me as to why my doctor has electronically prescribed stronger cocodamol and there might be a problem. I had to explain why to a pharmacist dor them to dispense when they have no access to my medical records or xrays. When i was prescribed the stronger dosage they then managed to mess it up by giving me some strong and some weak when they were all meant to be the same strength. Makes you question how they can put the wrong medication in a box thats clearly labelled a specific dosage.

Pretty poor, will have some of the prescription but not all of it. Then have to get the doctor to send it over again. It's happened so many times.

I tried to get a prescription for my severe hayfever allergy?s however I was told I can?t get a prescription apparently and I can buy them all over the counter which is the same strength as them provide on prescription????????

Witts Hill Boots are brilliant - really fast to get CD medication in and always helpful over the telephone. We are very happy to go out of our way to come here. We had previously used the Boots next toor to the Living well partnership on Thorold road, but after 100s of quite frankly disastrous dealings with their appalling staff we were glad to find a place with kindness and genuine pharmaceutical expertise at the forefront of the service.
