I am writing to express my disappointment with my experience at your store on Christmas Eve. Unfortunately, it was not up to the standard I expected.
First, I was rushed out of the store by an employee named Callum at around 6:45 PM, even though the store was not scheduled to close until 7 PM. Callum?s behavior was very rude and unprofessional, which made the situation even more upsetting. Thankfully, the security staff were very helpful and polite, which I appreciated.
Additionally, I returned to the store because of false advertising regarding your opening hours. On December 22nd, it was advertised that the store would remain open until 1 AM. However, when I arrived, the store had already closed at 11 PM. This inconsistency is highly frustrating, especially during such a busy time of year.
I am very upset about this experience and hope you take this feedback seriously. I expect better customer service and accurate communication from your store.
I would appreciate it if you could address these issues and let me know how they will be resolved. Thank you for your time.

I love this store, much larger than my previous local store! It also has a much larger range of "around the world" foods!

You seriously need to ammend your prices for sweetner tablets . £5.90 at the til for a small pack of 300 asdas own when it says on the display 65p . I came in earlier today and was charged at the til £5.90 for a small pack , I refused.to pay that and when I said to the lady on the self checkout tils how can that be and how can you justify that she just stayed silent and gave them to a male staff and he checked it and said yeah £5.90 and walked off .. i am absolutely fuming ??. My nephew researched the prices and told me just now they are 65p . GET THIS SORTED !!!

I visited this store this evening to do a big shop . Only for the self checkout machine to keep playing up every other other item I scanned .. was then told half way through I would have to move to a different checkout. All my items were heavy and I have back problems . Half way through that checkout starts playing up too . I walked out , sorry to staff but it shouldn't be that difficult to shop . There should be a checkout with a human if the self checkouts have weight limits as I was told by a member of staff .

I had a voucher for £25 given to me by Fareham Borough Council but I don't go there just for that. I have found ingredients there cheaper than anywhere else or ingredients I cannot find anywhere else.

We are buying the products from Asda Southampton from last 3 year's and we never faced any problem,but from last 3 week's the milk we are purchasing is curling before 5 days of the expire date and when for the first time they apologised and refunded the money and second time the same and when gone today 12th Sep 2024, they asked some silly questions saying that do I keep milk in fridge or not ,as it says clearly that on the bottle to keep below 5 and we have a baby where we be cautious about the food which she takes and we store the food in proper temparature, I got irritated with her question and ask her if I am.looking as a illeterate and the security guy comes to me from no where and says I need to leave premises or he will give last oppertunity to talk properly, I do t know ,when people questions about the product which they sold are not good these guys behave in an indecent way and the person who came to address at first she was not at all concerned about the customer complaint, worst behaviour towards the customer and when I asked the name of the security guy , he was not even answering my question and brought a body cam to record me as if I came to do some thing, very bad on the customer concern ,where they want to get rid of the complaints which they get. Next time we try to go legally on this because of this kind of attitude towards the customer.

Shop at ASDA every week, though the thing that really bugs me is that I get substitutes of my items every single week. Also, customer service hotline is a nightmare, as you never get through to anyone, and you're just forever pressing 1, pressing 2, etc.
Still, food is very nice.

This place is shocking! Only ever one staff member on shift. Doing all the orders, cooking and cleaning. The main company is compass not asda which I recently learnt today. This company needs looking into, what's with the one member of staff on a shift about, on min wage. Never have any ingredients to make a meal, so who ever Is in charge of management of stock needs to get that sorted. This place needs taking over by a different company to turn it around.
