Very poor service

I was contracted by Palletways to work at Acclaim for 3 years as the Palletways Member Sales Manager in order to develop the pallet distribution business for the member in question. At the same time that very successful 3 year contract ended, my late wife passed away, following her 8 year battle with non hodgkins lymphoma cancer. Throughout the most successful Palletways contract, the MD at Acclaim, had on numerous occasions, maintained that my future with Acclaim was assured as a direct employee once my the Palletways member contract ended.Acclaim would duly oblige with said direct contract of employment, however, the salary terms offered were precisely 50% of the salary i had enjoyed at Palletways for the previous 3 years.Needless to say, I were now grieving over the loss of my late Wife and the double whammy of grieving over a much loved career situation that now resulted in my losing half of my salary.Within a few weeks, working conditions and relations had become untenable, and I left Acclaim due to ill health and chronic depression.Sometimes, the truth just needs to be told and as a consequence of my Acclaim experience and my own health situation at that time, I decided to leave the international logistics industry after 40 years and took up a career as a carer in the health care sector and this proved most joyous and rewarding and helped rebuild me following that dreadful and deceitful episode at Acclaim.

Used Acclaim for the 2 man service onto the Isle of Wight as the company my elderly uncle has purchased his mattress from do not has a service to the island , the process was easy from start to finish plus they delivered to his room of choice A1 Service

Terrible situation? retract a parcel back to their Southampton branch. Had email confirmation with date to collect.. Friday 22 dec.. when I arrived in the afternoon, the parcel office was closed. Chatted to a couple of workers who checked pallets for my postcode and there was no parcel. Was told that it could have gone back to sender, this is a fairytale as I was meant to collect that day. Can?t reach out to anybody today?tracking details freezes at out for delivery? my Christmas parcel entrusted to these people is missing?. I wouldn?t use them. Only one star because I had to put something or it wouldn?t post. Shambles

This was the first time I have used Acclaim to transport packages from the mainland to the Isle of Wight. They were great from start to finish. The quote process was easy and their price was very competitive. They delivered the packages bang on time to my doorstep. All staff I dealt with were helpful and friendly. 5 star rating. Would definitely use them again and have no hesitation in recommending them ?
