Waitrose has lost its identity. It used to stand for quality goods and quality service from its staff. What?s happened in last last 18 months is that they have virtually made redundant it?s staff, so there is virtually no one to deliver a quality service and the quality and range of its produce is no better than any other supermarket. The only consistency seems to be its prevailing high prices. Considering all the above leaves one to wonder why anyone would bother to shop at Waitrose at all.
