Ordered building materials, did not arrive the day they were booked for apparently the delivery lorry had issues (fine) then the following day rang to ask an eta for delivery and was told they couldn't tell me . Called again 12.30pm again for an eta .to be told they had brought in an agency lorry , and it would be sometime in the afternoon (i am paying men to sit an wait ) lady quite abrupt on the phone, i explained i was needed asap , she wasn't helpful or apologetic even though delivery was a day late. It arrived 3.30 ON A TRAVIS AND PERKINS LORRY, so the whole agency lorry was a lie.
I have bought materials from other travis and perkins and order arrived on time a txt from the driver with expected eta ..brilliant.
I suggest Romsey branch give there customer service staff some training .

Excellent service over the phone by Tom. I couldn't pick my goods up during opening hours so I was told where they would be left for me to collect, he even ensured the timber was cut to my required size for no extra cost. The best builders merchants around. Highly recommend!

Always brilliant to be at Travis. All staff are extremely helpful. But Vinnie in the warehouse is always on the hand to assist and advice. Amazing customer service. keep up the great work!

Great staff in the Romsey branch and a really good website too so u can click and collect too (only issue i have can be the minimium order eg u must by 6 lengths of timber online but in store they are fine with you ordering 1)
