They can only accept items that they can sell, and that may vary across the country based upon local demand. If they can’t accept some of your donations, don’t take it as negative feedback. You could try and sell it yourself on some of the popular free sites, or just accept that it is not a desirable item and take it to your local recycling centre (leaving it with the charity will mean they have to pay to have it removed as rubbish, which reduces the amount of money that can go to their good cause).”
