My experience was not very good . Was all going ok got told I needed vari focal and occupational glasses. I didn?t have my cards with me to pay for the glasses and the guy told me he would call later that day, no call. I called the next day to pay and got told they were too busy to take my money. Not heard anything since so will definitely not be ordering my glasses from there. Will not be going back and don?t really trust the prescription as I don?t think it?s accurate. Will have to have another eye test elsewhere

I am happy with my new glasses, the staff were very efficient and helpful.It made a difference from last year, when I had to go back 3 times and eventually ended up wearing my old ones.

I would like to say a huge huge Thankyou to the staff in your Romsey branch.I ordered some distance sunglasses as I was driving to Portugal. As I had left it rather late, the scheduled time for them to arrive, was way after my time to leave uk.The day before I left I had a phone call to say they were ready.?What a service?..driving without strong sunglasses would have nBeen very difficult. As I know how important reviews can be, I'm hoping that I will be presented with a reason to change my review.So far my experience with Specsavers Romsey has been very poor.Initially everything was going fine. I was after a particular type of prescription sunglasses which they didn't have in stock (that's perfectly fine), so they ordered them in for me. No communication from them, I kept calling to chase on when they would arrive...eventually they did.I then went on to order them. I was told this would take a couple of weeks. Several weeks later I am calling to ask where they are. I am then told they might be a couple more weeks, and no explanation why. A couple more weeks passed, I then phone again. I am told they arrived damaged so they were returned on the first occasion but they should be arriving soon. I then called up today only to be told they have arrived damaged once more and I would need to wait even longer. We're now looking at 2 months. My main issue is the lack of contact. Why am i doing the chasing?The other glasses are there waiting for me but I am tempted to cancel my whole order and go elsewhere.

Sight test. Polite, friendly, professional staff. I didn't have to wait around and was given all the time I wanted to choose new frames. No pressure to go for special offers, though there were written notices near the frames section. Very happy with the service. Now not so sure, because I cannot tell the difference between old glasses and those of a year ago. This is becoming expensive, without obvious change, I am VERY disappointed and feel let down. Both of the new pairs of specs need adjusting for fit and I am a tad fed up.

Great service, friendly staff and a very thorough eye check for my daughter at Specsavers in Romsey this morning. I am going back with my older daughter this afternoon and I am confident we'll have the same positive experience. Keep up the good work and service! We'll stick with this franchise from now on.

What can I say, no notification from the store to say they were in. So I called the shop only to be told that they have been in the shop since the beginning of February, it's now mid March. I was then told I should of had a delivery date when I purchased them. Passing the buck, maybe.They would still be in the store if I hadn't called. You would has thought they would have at least called..

Have used Specsavers for a good number of years, but finally given up. Took 3 months of repeated trying to get a prescription that worked and was at least as good as my current / old glasses, but having had the lenses changed 3 times, and without success, I finally decided to give up. So, still using my old glasses and won't return.

Never have any problems at specsavers. Don't wait long to be seen. Great staff, very thorough, can't fault them.
