Not sure what happened on our visit yesterday but it was one big disaster and meant we won?t return to this Prezzo.
Waitress was super friendly and took our drink order really quickly! Drinks arrived quickly to the table. Waitress had an issue with the ordering tablet and kept having to go off and come back.
Eventually we placed food order including kids 3 course menus and two adult mains.
After about 40 minutes I asked if there was a kitchen issue as we had had no food yet! (2 kids garlic breads surely are quick and simple). Eventually one kids garlic breads came and then we were told 3 times they would go and get the missing starter. We were handed a wrong kids starter (mozzarella sticks) and told them it wasn?t ours as we ordered a simple garlic bread with cheese - we were told to keep the mozzarella sticks for free while they sorted the missing kids garlic bread with cheese! On asking a third time for the missing child?s starter - we were told we had the mozzarella sticks instead!!!! You can?t just give something complimentary and then later say that was instead of what was ordered! Also you can?t change a kids order to suit yourselves!!!!
After well over an hour we asked if the mains were coming. They went to check with the kitchen. They arrived eventually and had clearly been sat in the kitchen for quite some time as nothing was very hot - no piping hot pasta or steam when cutting open the calzone. So disappointing.
Then after finishing our mains, the child?s garlic bread with mozzarella actually arrived! Who knew it was so tricky to make this dish!
Ordered one kids desert and that came fairly quickly. Other child decided not to order her sundae after the other issues.
Eventually got the bill after asking twice
And that was completely wrong too!Overcharging us by around £10 on the first receipt which we had to explain the issues!
We were in the restaurant for two hours in total! Other tables were clearly leaving without finishing meals or ordering deserts too - one table next to us gave up and left after mains (children) and another table got boxes to take the food with them (small children).
We have been here 2-3 times before for lunch and never had such issues, which was why we had returned again and again.

Bad Service, we walked in asked for table for 2 and they refused, staff mentioned that they are fully booked whereas there was only one couple in the restaurant,to double check I checked online booking and it was allowing me to book.

The sqiuid and bruschetta starters were a bit bland, But mains of Tuscan Sausage and prawn pasta were both very good. The salted caramel chocolate bar was a bit bizarre like a confectionery sweet, which was difficult to cut with a blob of cream. The staff were friendly enough, after a rather brusk greeting from the manager, possibly?

Had booking for 5pm. Taken to seats and were left waiting over 30 minutes without drinks or anyone coming to serve us. Got fed up so walked out. They weren't even busy!

No baby changing facilities, asked staff who pointed me to where they were, with no warning of what I was walking into - the men's toilets where I don't know who was more shocked myself or the poor gentleman trying to wee.
Luckily my partner was there to change the baby or she would of had to be in a dirty nappy
Parking: Very limited spaces
Kid-friendliness: Not at all, could just get the buggy through even though said we were bringing one

My mum ordered a meal for each of us which I drove to pick up from my flat over to her place. A starter & a main for both of us and a dessert for me.
When I got to mum?s and emptied it all out on the table, I couldn?t find my main anywhere! Mum phoned them three times ( First time, she got on to someone who said they?d talk to the manager, but seconds later, cut us off!! ) before deciding to drive over and give them a piece of her mind!
She came back with my main and a free bottle of wine. We both thought that was the end of that problem??till mum emptied her main onto her plate.
?..IT WASN?T WHAT SHE ASKED FOR AT ALL!!!
Not happy with their takeaway service and won?t be buying from them again!

Lovely old building, very pleasant atmosphere, nice and central. Waitress apologized for the shortness of staff, especially in the kitchen, but we were not unduly delayed. Good, tasty food .

Came here as a table of 11, we think they were understaffed as it took an hour to take our order. Food was all good, except we had to send back one of the spaghetti bolognese and replace it with something else as it was really watery. No complaints about the food I ordered though.

We had a prebooked family meal as there was a few of us. We sat upstairs. The menu is varied and average prices. My chicken was nice but very little sauce . We had to remind them we asked for water. They were very busy possibly due to a voucher offer. Our meals took a very long time to come. Then eventually we had to ask for the plates to be cleared and for the dessert menus. The rest of the party did enjoy their food.

First visit here in about 10 years and really enjoyed everything about it. Friendly and professional staff and the calzone was amazing!
