Great stay. As regular campers, this was one of our favourites for the respect and noise level. The amenities are great - launderette/potwash area/toilets/teeth cleaning/face wash cubicles in the toilets/hairdryer/separate shower cubicles and a lovely clean park overall. The play park could do with a little revamp if we had to pick something to suggest an improvement. The showers are rainfall style (powerdul and so good) and although unisex, it is very private for each cubicle so not left to feel uncomfortable. It was very peaceful all day and night, everyone making sure they adhered to the noise level policy. We had two tents (our family and my mother in laws and partner) and the pitches are huge, we were able to put our tent doors facing each other with lots of space between us/car parking etc. Staff are really helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. 8 min drive to Romsey, 30 mins to Lyndhurst and Brockenhurst - worth the drive, just watch the potholes bigger than crafters along the roadsides!

Spent 4 nights as this site near River Test so hubby could fish. Nice clean site, friendly helpful staff. Very quiet. Had small shop, laundry room, fridge and freezer for visitors to use too. Dog walking area. There was a cafe but unfortunately was not open during our stay. Short drive to local pubs for evening meals or walk to small garden centre with cafe during daytime. Toilets were clean and everything was well maintained. We were premier pitch which was amongst sited caravans, so very quiet as were either empty or older people. Suited us well.

This was our first stay on this site and looked well set up and friendly with good clean amenities. Second night there saw 2 families turn up and ignored the 11pm quiet time policy. which we reported to the owner who apologised and said they would deal with it. Third night said families partied until 02.30 and beyond with an open pit fire, singing, shouting and generally being a nuisance. We phoned the site manager but his phone was on silent. The emergency button on the site office was inoperative so we all had to endure a noisy night. The site owner apologised to us in the morning and offered us a free return at some point which we declined. Policies put in place should be policed with a zero tolerance attitude and not put down to first night frolics. The site is lovely but their policies need adhering too. We won't be returning.

As a Seasonal Pitch caravanner with many years enjoyment of Hill Farm Caravan Park, we were appalled to read the totally unwarranted bad review by an alleged visitor in August 2023. Perhaps his/her review related to another campsite because he/she made a number of other bad reviews of places visited in Somerset and Devon in the same month. As far as we are concerned, Hill Farm Park is a marvellous place to stay, with first rate facilities (including the Garden Room Cafe) and a very friendly and helpful team. The grounds are well maintained and we've certainly not seen any evidence of fox poo!!! Highly recommended.

Firstly thank you to the all the staff we met , working tirelessly to maintain the site and facilities.Big thanks to Joe for arranging to store the caravan for us at short notice . The site has many seasonal pitches and we were set there , we had no problems although there are people going off to work at various times , however the field is all holiday makers . The toilets were clean throughout our stay apart from when the field was particularly full , warden in and out constantly cleaning but surely people need to take some responsibility for the way they leave the facilities would you leave your own bathroom in a mess !!!! Great area for walking the dog . Nice little shop with post office and cafe on site . Play area being painted while we were there and granddaughter enjoyed it , staff constantly around maintaining the grass etc very pretty landscaped mature field on site perfect for the children to run and play with plenty of shade . Perfectly situated for us with family near by and plenty of places to visit on the door step .

I arrived at Hill Farm yesterday for a long weekend with our grandchildren. I was met by a lovely lady who went out of her way to get us on a pitch that was right for us. We have a wonderful pitch and I am so grateful for the care and attention she paid us. Thank you so much. It could not have been a better welcome and start to our weekend

The worst campsite I've ever stayed in. Dreadful. The site is so run down and dirty, the female warden was rude and argumentative and there was fox poo everywhere which we got covered in! The site are clearly leaving these good reviews themselves, because this site is appalling!

We were first-time campers, and we found this place to be so welcoming and friendly. We have 3 little girls, and almost instantly, they were making freinds and getting stuck into camp life. The facilities were always clean and there was someone regularly cleaning them. The showers were lovely, and as a tall person, I really appreciated a shower that was suitable for me.

If booking a premium pitch please be aware that they are situated in amongst the very busy seasonal pitches, with coming and goings at all times of the day. We paid for a premium pitch which we found to be unsuitable and ended up on a grassed serviced pitch with shared water and no waste drainage. During the weekend it became very busy with vans tents and motorhomes all parked fairly tight, with children and adults playing football , hide and seek in amongst and very close to the caravans. The welcome was good , and the warden went out of his way to find us an alternative pitch. the shop has most essentials and the delivery of papers is a bonus. Does not justify the cost.

I would just like to write a reply about the toilets being dirty at 10pm. My husband and I are seasonal pitch holders. I have never seen the toilets dirty or the shower blocks since we have been here. The site Wardens Carol & Rob work very hard and I have seen them cleaning the toilets very late at night. They cannot be in there 24/7, what happens after they clean is out of their control. When it's a Bank Holiday they never stop cleaning and making sure all the bins are empty. I didn't realise how hard the Wardens work on these sites until I've seen it for myself. So I think that last review is unfair because they are spotless all the time. We all need to take some responsibility and clean up after ourselves like we would in our own houses, it takes a couple of minutes to use the supplied squeegee to leave it in an acceptable state for the next user. Carol and Rob keep up the hard work.

We stayed for 1 night in our campervan and it did the job. Staff friendly upon arrival and showed us around the site and to our pitch. Gave us a leaflet with handy information and site map. Decent site pitch which was good. Group not far from us playing music until late, despite site being advertised as quiet and no music. Decent amount of toilets and showers in a warm heated building. Sadly the toilets weren?t up to scratch when I visited at 10pm, included a smeared toilet seat. Visited in the night and first thing and they were all worse, dirty, loo roll on the floor. They were cleaned around 9 thankfully but it was a long period in which they weren?t adequately clean. A kids play area on site but quite tired.

Great site, good facilities, very clean and tidy. Friendly staff. Shop was very well stocked, plenty of bins and recycling. Prices were average but the size of the plots were fabulous. Plenty of shade if needed and a good dog walk.

Have read some poor reviews from some people and don't think they were reviewing this site, the site is well manicured, especially down in the willows, amazing bathroom facilities with loads of hot water and good disabled loo. An amazing dog walk through the woods also. Cafe and shop on site and only 15 minutes from Romsey by car. Been coming here for a long time and will continue to do so.

Great campsite, it had everything we required for our stay. Toilet and shower blocks were spotless and had underground heating. Pitches were well maintained, and the warden was lovely. Has a small shop, and we managed to buy what we needed, including everything for a meal the second evening and a few beers. Shop was pretty well priced being a captive market. We had an EHU hard standing pitch with a grass area. It did seem to have an older people vibe to the camp ( we are early 40s), almost felt like lights out at 9pm, BUT everyone was freindly and had a chat to a fair few people. Price was a little on the high side, BUT it had everything you could need. We only chose this site as it was EHU and close to home for our first outing in our Folding Camper.

The staff were friendly and polite but the site looks very tired since the pictures on their website were taken. Lots of tourers that seem to be seasonal bookings and their occupants let the site down badly. Woken in the morning by a row about someone?s dog taking a dump on someone else?s pitch, then found dog mess on our pitch, then the final straw was someone coughing up flem and spitting it out in the mixed shower. Not the best h a mile and left before our due leaving date
